Chapter Text
POV: 🐸 ( [I] would be FrogLover, or ME)
Now, as any regular manga and anime reader and watcher, I’m elated to even think about being in an anime.
Of course, when you get dropped by God into a vastly different surrounding, all I thought was: … Transmigration?
Of course, I’d be alone in a New World (har har har very funny.)
Of course, there wouldn't be someone besides me that looks strangely like my fellow fanfic writer.
Of course, this is a one-person Self-Insert.
Of COURSE, as I searched my memories, there wasn't someone falling beside me.
Looking over my shoulder, (argh, my backkkk) there was indeed a person. Specifically- oops shouldn't say their name~
As soon as they turned around, I said: “ We’re… in an anime.”
Wow, great first sentence in a New World (har har har very funny)
They looked at me.
I, being polite, looked back.
And we both simultaneously cheered. “We’re in an anime/One Piece!”
“Wait what, we’re in One Piece?” I blurted out.
She looked at me strangely. “Obviously.”
“... How?”
“Yes.”
A few moments were then spent in silence, then she laughed. “Haha! Look at your face! There's an abandoned Marine base right there and we're on an island. Of course we're in One Piece!”
I looked around and- Oh yeah there really is a Marine base. Wow, I'm definitely not unlocking Observation Haki anytime soon. Right?
“Welp, what's the plan?” FrogLover said.
YAOMXTODS sighed, (emo as ever) “Assuming this is canon, we can… become pirates I guess. But the best idea is to split up for efficiency.”
“Into the Revs, Marines and Pirates? We're only two (2) people! What're we gonna do, find a Devil Fruit!?” FrogLover pointed out.
“... That's… a good idea. Plan made! Find a Devil Fruit.”
~~~~~
And so, we set off- yeah no without any supplies nor training? Heck no!
And so, we set off towards the lush forest literally right beside us. To discover whatever random weird powers the Guy up there gave us.
~~~~~
First Day; Building Finding A Shelter, 8:30 AM
The teens trekked through the woods, intent on finding the something suitable for building a shelter to stay in.
YAOMXTODS motioned for FrogLover, “Hey, I think there's something here.”
And indeed there was. Right behind the bushes they were standing in, there was a huge tree, with a house-size treehouse sitting there. It looked weathered from time, torn floorboards left and right. But hey, better than nothing, amiright?
“... well, it's not the best, but we'll fix it up!”
~~~~~
“Alright! I've made a map, accurate or not, of where everything is! We've got the stream, the treehouse, the abandoned Marine base and the abandoned village. We're set to explore!” FrogLover yelled.
YAOMXTODS groaned and rubbed her eyes, “How the hell can you be this energetic during the morninggg… ugh.”
FrogLover pouted. “Well, plot’s never gonna continue if you keep being tired!”
And so they trekked into the vast deep woods, hoping to find somewhere interesting, so the plot could continue…
~~~~~
Branches cracked under the soles of four shoes, each looking weathered and probably not supposed to be for walking in a forest.
The scene travelled up, stopping on two teens chatting. They both looked like the typical Asian, with black hair and dark brown eyes.
One wore vibrant clothes; blue, green, yellow and white. She had a fluffy frog hat on, accompanied by wide circular glasses. Average in height.
The other was the complete opposite. Instead of vibrant clothes, she wore black clothing and black thin glasses and… tall. Very tall. (emo)
Most of the things they talked about were the miscellaneous mangas and animes, specifically reviewing key events in One Piece.
“So… how's your life going? Have you watched all your animes that you wanna?” FrogLover questioned.
YAOMXTODS sighed, “Of course not. It'll be when Oda finishes One Piece when I finish ‘em all.”
“Well, for me, even though you didn't ask me how my life is going, meanie,” FrogLover put a hand on her chest dramatically, “my life… is lifeing. I'm starting up to many ideas for my hands to write and reading mangas and fanfics at 3 AM. As usual.”
YAOMXTODS looked at her. “Are you serious? You know I'm always like this. Anyways…”
A rustle from a nearby bush attracted the attention of the pair.
“... What was that?”
