To say Yoongi was nervous was an understatement. The understatement of the year. Yoongi had missed Jungkook’s birthday, by accident and now that they were together, Yoongi officially asked him out on a date.
Yoongi was scared, nervous and over all wasn't sure how to feel. He had talked to Namjoon about the date but Namjoon was no help at all.
The two of them were sitting in Yoongi’s room planning the date.
“Namjoon, what am I going to do? I first missed his birthday and now I planned this date and I have no fucking idea what to do! It has to be special!” Yoongi complained.
Namjoon just chuckled at this. He had never seen Yoongi this flustered about anything unless it involved Jungkook. The younger had, for the better, changed Yoongi’s life. He wasn't as reckless and was actually working towards his career more than before.
“Hyung, you just gotta chill. Go to the movies, or dinner, or I have no idea, rap for him. I don't know why you're asking me anyway. Jin would've been a better choice to ask.”
Yoongi glared at Namjoon, “I would have asked Jin, but he’s busy with university. Anyway what did you and Jin do for a first date?”
“Ahh, well we just went to a coffee shop. But it was more like first date to get to know each other. We started dating after that.”
Yoongi grumbled and flopped onto the floor. It was useless asking anyone for dating advice. No one he knew was actually good at this. Hoseok had his long time boyfriend, Namjoon had Jin and Yoongi was helplessly in love with Jungkook.
“Namjoon get out.” Yoongi pointed towards the door. Namjoon knew how Yoongi could get when he was in a mood, so he simply got up and left, leaving Yoongi with his own thoughts.
Yoongi knew he wanted their first date to be special, especially since it was a chance meeting that got the two of them together. Yoongi grabbed his phone and started to search for ideas for the perfect date, but all that turned up was the same exact thing that Namjoon said or stupid netflix and chill dates. Not that Yoongi wasn’t up for that, but he refused for that to be his first date with Jungkook.
“Fucking hell.. I guess I’ll just invite him over.” Yoongi grumbled as he grabbed his phone and texted Jungkook to meet him at his house.
Three hours later, Jungkook was standing outside of Yoongi’s house, nervous but excited to see what this “secret” Yoongi had been keeping. Jungkook knocked on the door and waited until Yoongi opened the door. His boyfriend looked slightly grumpy, but that was one of the reasons Jungkook loved him.
“Jungkook you can come in.” He said softly, leading his boyfriend inside and to the couch. Yoongi snuggled up against Jungkook, giving him a gummy smile. “Okay, so I know you were expecting something super great from this surprise, but I couldn’t think of anything super special. So we’re just gonna watch whatever movies you want.”
Jungkook laughed and pulled Yoongi into a hug. “Hyung, if this is what you wanted to do for our date then it’s fine with me. Just spending time with you is special.”
Yoongi’s face flushed red, he turned and gave Jungkook a quick kiss before turning back towards the TV. “Yah, you brat, stop saying embarrassing shit. My heart can’t take your cuteness.”
Jungkook’s bunny like smile showed as he watched his boyfriend redded because of his comment. He started to search through the movies, but couldn’t find anything that interested him.
“Hyung, why can’t we just go out or something?”
Yoongi nodded, Jungkook always had the best ideas, or at least better ideas than Yoongi. Yoongi grabbed his car keys and headed towards his car. The two of them were sitting in the car, thinking where to go.
“Kookie, where do you want to go?”
“The aquarium..” He whispered nervously.
Yoongi turned to look at Jungkook to see him blushing. He reached over and ran his hand through his hair,
“You’re so cute, I love you Jungkook.” Yoongi said as he started driving to the aquarium. He personally had never been before, but from what he had heard it was filled with so many different types of fish.
Yoongi parked as close as he could and rushed to buy the tickets before Jungkook could even grab his wallet.
“What do you want to see first?” Yoongi asked. He had grabbed one of the maps at the front, but he still didn’t understand the whole layout.
Jungkook grabbed Yoongi’s hand and lead him towards the deep sea creatures exhibit. The younger acted like a little kid as he skipped around the aquarium, looking at each exhibit with awe and took a bunch of pictures. He kept pointing to the different fish telling Yoongi everything he knew about them or how he had never seen them before.
Yoongi couldn’t help but smile as he watched his boyfriend look at everything with eyes filled with awe and excitement. Yoongi reached up to give Jungkook a kiss and smiled at him.
“H-hyung, what? Why?”
“You’re really cute y’know that? Anyway, why did you pick the aquarium?”
“Oh.. well I haven’t been to once since we moved from Busan and I really missed the ocean.. I know that sounds stupid but I really just wanted to see the fish..” Jungkook said, he was nervous to hear his boyfriend’s reaction to what he was saying.
Yoongi chuckled. “Jeon Jungkook you’re so cute. I’m really happy that you ran into me that day.”
Jungkook nodded in agreement. “Yeah, I bet it was fate!”
Yoongi smiled, he agreed, it was fate that brought the two of them together and he hoped it would stay that way forever.

Yoongi was looking through his phone and smile. He remembered their first date vividly, like it was just hours ago that he was standing in the aquarium with his husband.
His nice reminiscing ended as soon as Haeun rushed into the apartment with Taehyung.
"Aboji! You'll never guess what happened today!" She shrieked happily as she rushed over and gave her father a hug.
Yoongi smiled at her, "What happened?"
"TaeTae asked me out! It was so perfect! It was really pretty and the aquarium was the coolest thing ever! It was just like the one in Busan we went too!"
Jungkook ran out into the living room and glared at his daughter and her new boyfriend.
"What?! You're dating this heathen?! Min Haeun! What the actual fuck?!"
Yoongi walked over to his husband and wrapped his arm around his waist and pulled him to the side.
"Jungkook, chill. Let her be happy, I mean, don't you remember what happened when we went to the aquarium?"
Jungkook nodded then smiled. Their first date would always be special, so Jungkook decided to let today be special for Haeun.
