Work Text:

It had been a couple of months since Tae and Haeun had officially started dating. Only reason anyone called it official was because everyone in their friend group knew they were practically exclusive, just way too dense to say how they really felt.

It was their three month anniversary and Haeun decided she was going to do something special for it no matter what. She had a plan, a foolproof one at that. First, she would skip school. Second, she’d spend the day making Tae’s favorite cookies and getting ready. Then she'd text Tae and spend the rest of the day with him. It was absolutely perfect.

Besides the fact that today was the one day Yoongi and Jungkook had off.

“Yah! Min Haeun if you are not up and in the kitchen in fifteen seconds I'm burning your cellphone.” Yoongi called from his seat at the kitchen table.

Haeun sulked out and glared at Yoongi. “Appa! Why is aboji being so mean?! You said I didn't have to go to school today!” Haeun started to complain to Jungkook who was busy making breakfast.

“I said you could skip school if you were sick. Doesn't look like you're sick to me. Also if you think I didn't know think again, you're not skipping so you can fantasize about your perfect date with Jung Taehyung.” Jungkook argued back as he placed four plates on the table.

Hyewon rushed into the kitchen and sat in her seat. “Appa, aboji can I go to the movie today with Kiyong and Wonjae?” She asked as she ate breakfast and stared at Yoongi with puppy eyes.

Their kids had learned early that Yoongi would always cave to puppy eyes. No matter how angry he was.

“Haeun, take your sister to the movies. Hyewon, there is some money in the bowl, you can take some.” Yoongi said between bites as he watched Haeun’s face change to an expression of horror.

“No! You can't make me take her! I have plans with Tae tonight! We've been planning this for weeks!”

“Well too bad, so sad. Take your sister to the movies” Yoongi wasn't joking today. All he wanted today was lay in bed with Jungkook and sleep, not scream and argue with his teenage daughter.

“Appa, you can't let aboji ruin this for me!” Haeun complained as she started to tear up. The tears always worked on Jungkook, just the same as puppy eyes worked on Yoongi. “Appa… Please… I-I really really want to spend the day with Tae.”

“That's no fair! She always gets to see Tae oppa! Today is the only day Kiyong is free! I'm going to the movies! Aboji, please?”

Jungkook and Yoongi exchanged looks before looking back at their daughters. One was on the verge of tears, making Jungkook feel terrible, while Yoongi just rolled his eyes at this. The other had a pouty lip and puppy eyes, which was starting to get to Yoongi, but making Jungkook proud that his daughter had learned well.

Yoongi stood up from the table, placed his dish in the sink and then walked towards the front door. He grabbed both of the girl’s cell phones and put them in his pockets.

“That's it. I've worked all week dealing with other people’s shit and I DO NOT want to deal with yours. So no cell phones for the next fourteen days. No leaving the house besides for school. And NO FRIENDS OR BOYFRIENDS!” He emphasized the ending as he walked into his and Jungkook's bedroom and slammed the door shut.

Jungkook only just shrugged when the girls stared at him. They had never expected their aboji to get that angry, but today was obviously one of those days.

“You heard the man, you're both grounded. Now have fun at school.” Jungkook wished them as he went to his bedroom to calm down Yoongi.

-----

Haeun sulked to school, on the verge of tears, until Tae showed up. He was smiling his usual boxy grin as he ran up to her and wrapped her in his arms.

“Haeun, baby, are you crying? What's the matter?” He asked as soon as she started crying. He was worried he had done something or forgotten something.

“My aboji grounded my sister and me for the next fourteen days. No not two weeks, fourteen days, which means he's going to count them. So I can't hang out with you tonight.” She whispered as she just hugged him tighter.

“Baby that's not bad. I'll talk to your ahjussi, I mean how bad could it be?” Tae laughed as he lead her into the building.

-------

Taehyung had learned from early on that the one who secretly supported them was Yoongi, even though he always seemed indifferent whenever they were around. But he also learned that Yoongi could be pretty harsh at times as well.

Tae had walked home with Hyewon and Haeun. Both girls argued about how it was the other’s fault that they were grounded.

“Unnie, aboji said no boyfriends. ” Hyewon complained at her sister.

“If you forgot Hyewon, were are neighbors with my boyfriend. I only have one not multiple.” Haeun fought back.

This continued until they got to their floor where they both shut up completely. Once they got to their apartment they said their goodbyes and walked in. Tae followed them, even though he knew it probably wasn't a smart idea.

Hyewon didn't like how Haeun was always getting her way, so she decided to create a scene.

“Oh my gosh! Unnie stop! You two are so gross! You're going to make aboji mad!” She shouted as she ran into the apartment towards her room, slamming the door.

Yoongi heard the door slam from where he was laying in bed with Jungkook. He hated being woken up by slamming doors.

“Jungkook I'm going to kill them both. I swear to God no one in the damn house listens to me. Haeun brought her fucking boyfriend over and Hyewon keeps slamming the fucking doors.” Yoongi complained as he snuggled closer to Jungkook.

“Hyung I'll go deal with it.”

“No I'm going to. I was the one who grounded them.”

Yoongi got out of bed, left the room and walked into the living room. Only problem being the room was completely empty.

“Min Haeun! Where the fuck are you? If you are not in the living room in two seconds I'm banning you from seeing anyone for six months! That includes summer!” Yoongi shouted as he heard a crashing noise come from Haeun’s bedroom.

Haeun and Taehyung ran out, looking slightly disheveled. Haeun had a nervous smile on her face while Tae just smiled his normal smile.

“Yoongi ahjussi, I just… Umm… I was wondering if I could invite Haeun over for dinner tonight. Appa and Jimin ahjussi wanted me to ask.” He said nervously. He was actually a little scared since he had never seen Yoongi that mad before.

Yoongi glared at the boy. Either he was trying to get Haeun out of the house without drawing suspicion or he was just plain stupid.

“No. If you want you can have dinner here though.” Yoongi suggested as he was in his chair.

“Aboji really? TaeTae can stay for dinner?” Haeun was so excited, she thought the world was ending.

“Of course.” Yoongi said before going to Hyewon’s room. He knocked and entered to find Hyewon working on homework. Even though she looked a lot like Yoongi, she was much more like Jungkook personality wise.

“Hyewon, invite those two friends over. Kiyong and Wonjae. And then your other friends too. We're going to have dinner here.” He said, earned a huge smiled from the girl. She jumped up and down and ran to give him a hug.

“Aboji! You're the best! Can we watch a movie in the movie room?”

“Of course.”

------

Once it was six o’clock the door started ringing like crazy. Hyewon had invited over ten friends including Kiyong and Wonjae. Haeun was so pissed off, she shouldn't have fallen for that trick.

They all had dinner in the living room together, made by Jin.

“Yoongi, Jungkook thank you so much for inviting Namjoon and me over! Impromptu parties are the best.” Jin said as he served food to the ten year older.

“Hyewon, you know Kim Seokjin and The Rap Monster! This is so cool!” Kiyong said as he happily accepted the food.

“Hyewon you're so cool!” Wonjae said as he gave her a kiss on the check.

Tae wrapped an arm around Haeun.

“Baby it's okay. I mean, how bad could this get?” Tae said without thinking, as the next guests to enter the apartment were his two fathers. “God damnit. Really?! Appa! No! Go back home! No!” He started shouting as soon as Hoseok ran into the room with bags filled with soda.

“Yah! Taehyung what have I said about cursing!” Jimin shouted as he walked in before Hoseok.

“No can do kiddo! We're having a family bonding night. So you're not allowed to leave or you're grounded!” Hoseok said as he passed out sodas to each of the kids.

Yoongi smirked and looked over to where both Haeun and Hyewon were.

“Hyewon, you're no longer grounded. Your cellphone will be at the front door tomorrow. Haeun. You're still grounded. Enjoy your last night of freedom for the next thirty days.” Yoongi said as he started to laugh along with the rest of the adults.
