It had been many years since the barrier had been broken. Clover and Chara, brought back to life by pure determination. It had been so long since either of them had been on the surface, what if everything had changed? What if they forgot how to function in a human society? They had their worries but they knew they would face it together.
202X... X years since the barrier had been broken and humans and monsters had made peace.
Chara and Clover were walking in the central park together talking about nothing. It had been getting slightly colder but they were fine to continue their walk. After the humans and monsters had made a mixed town Chara and Clover had back to school but many of the other students there avoided them, as they were related to monsters. They didn't care. They had each other and that was enough.
It was winter break and the two of them had spent most of the break at clovers house. The reason for this was because Toriel had been getting drunk with that stupid fucking skeleton. Clover had just recently learned about this, and wanted to help Chara in any way they could. Chara had also ensured Clover that their younger sibling, Frisk was safe at Papyrus and Unyne's house.
