Summary
Shane Hollander found himself on a deserted road on the outskirts of Boston, with no cell phone signal and a heavy silence stretching for miles. The boredom of that night seemed endless, and it was what drove him to make an impulsive decision: to take one of the cars available at the house he had rented for the weekend out for a drive, just to kill time and shake off the restlessness that wouldn’t leave him alone.
The plan, however, fell apart when the car simply stopped working, leaving him stranded in the middle of nowhere, with the cold creeping in and his patience running thin. Shane believed he was already in the worst possible scenario, until he realized there was still room for fate to be cruel.
The only person available to get him out of that unexpected situation was the one he least expected, and perhaps the one he most feared seeing again. Ilya Rozanov.
And on that forgotten stretch of road, beneath the dark and silent sky, Shane still had no idea that this forced encounter would be the beginning of something impossible to ignore… and far harder to resist.
