Whats life without a pinch of chaos?

Three broke collage students works for some spooky upper people and get paid to play Phighting because eyeballs said so.

 

I am not very good at english + no idea how to write a fanfiction, so bear with my gangaling

Sorry if this chapter is confusing, Ralph actually uses they/it so its kinda confusing when im trying to describe the eyes and just the whole gang.

-RALPHS POV-

 

As much as Ralph hated to admit it, they were broke. Like, dirt poor. How they had even managed to attend a school with fees that high, it had no clue — but somehow, they’d made it work.

 

Ralph met Marcus and Noah on their first day of college. By some miracle, they ended up in the same dorms and even shared most of their classes. Sure, they could be rowdy at times — mostly Marcus, though.

Noah, on the other hand, couldn’t find confidence even if it walked up and introduced itself to his face.

 

But despite their chaos, they were actually amazing at the whole being an awesome friend thing… even if Ralph would rather bang its head against a wall than admit that to their faces.

 

With their schedules packed every single day, not a single part-time job near campus wanted to hire them. Tough luck, right?

 

So just imagine Ralph’s surprise when Noah somehow managed to find them a job.

Wellllll, not exactly. I'm giving you a more lenient contract compared to some other souls I've seen, but maybe?

Ralph remembered that a gear practically determines what people — or inphereals? — see you as on the first impression, and GOD did it want to make a darn good one.

Perhaps an SFOTH sword?

Or are you more of a healer guy?

 

Ralph's head was spinning from all the choices. While an SFOTH sword IS great in combat, making up a whole backstory and trying to fly under the radar would just be exhausting to maintain.

Maybe a healing gear? Nah, not for them.

It's too big of a target on their back, plus it would rather not have any survivor's guilt...

That's it! Ralph could clearly remember how much it enjoyed using the gear's abilities!
