Summary
The book that contains the Clow Cards has suddenly appeared in Skateboard's apartment, along with Kero. Skateboard finds the book and mistakenly let's all the cards out, catching only one card, titled 'The Power'. He then finds Kero and learns about the Clow Cards. Kero shows him how to use his gear as the sealing wand, and also how to seal cards. Meanwhile, Subspace feels like he's being stalked by someone, so he throws a crystal behind him, and ends up sealing 'The Shadow' by accident. Subspace is very confused but holds on to the card.
And somewhere else, someone found out they had powers of some sort too. But they don't realize it as fast as Skateboard and Subspace did.

Six months, it had been six months since it happened.
Almost everyone in the Inpherno had their gear swapped with someone else's, the few who didn’t either hadn’t used their original gears in a long time or had a companion gear, which were oddly spared from this mess.
It was chaos to say the least, no one knew how or why it happened but it did, and they had to deal with it now. Thankfully things have calmed down a bit since then, things have been moving along as best they can and despite the stress of it all there were some forms of escapism to take their minds off the madness and just relax, at least for a little while. -
