   Summary

   They'd changed him. Something he couldn't deny, no matter how hard he tried. His hair was darker, his eyes more purplish, and his skin seemed to be an almost sickly pale that no amount of time in the sun could undo.

   But his least favourite trait, the one that they had so cruelly given him, was his wings. He carried them like a burden, a painful reminder of all of the hurt he had cause in his life. They were wrong, Grian's anatomy not being built for wings no matter how hard the Watchers tried to force them upon him.
