   Summary

   Winning was supposed to make sense. Make things easier. Like how they were before. But she woke up a week after winning feeling empty. At first she had chalked it up to feeling off, maybe it was her period or the snow that wasn’t letting up in Ottawa. It would pass like it always did. But a week turned into two turned into three and soon it was a month of her feeling like she was slowly sinking. Of being late to practices because getting out of bed was becoming a monumental task.
