What have I done?
That one thought circled in Miyeong’s brain like a toy train. No matter how much she showered and scrubbed at her skin, the phantom of his touch continued to linger, as if her skin was unwilling to forget.
It was a mistake, a slip of judgement. A moment of weakness, if you will. Miyeong was a hunter, but she was also human, and humans had this fickle weakness for pretty things. Unfortunately, that weakness extended to humans - or demons in human disguise.
I was simply caught off-guard, Miyeong thought and stepped out of the shower. I never met a demon like him and thus I was surprised by his tactics.
It would be a convincing lie, had Miyeong not run into the demon multiple times before the fatal night.
___After spending the night with a certain demon, Miyeong swore to herself that it would not happen again. If only that demon didn't show up in the most unexpected places all the time, and if she were a better hunter, she would tell her friends about him. But she does not, and her vow never to return to his bed didn't last long.
