Prologue and information:
First off, I don't own Re: Zero, OBVIOUSLY. It belongs to Tappei Nagatsuki. So everything you will read is NOT CANNON.
This will be my first EVER fanfic I have made on this website.
I suck at English so don’t sh*t on me in the comments if you hate my writing. Just read something else – sorry, didn’t mean to be this rude.
I won’t be fully committed to writing this as I am currently in my second year in University and will be focusing on my studies more.
Finally this is for MY entertainment, so thoughts like these wouldn’t cloud my mind anymore so I can focus better in lectures. If you like what I have written, thanks, I love the support.
Plot:
What this fanfic follows is that I will collect various Natsuki Subaru’s across different fanfics on archive and have them ‘interact’ with each other. That's basically it.
I won't immediately tell which Fanmade Subaru’s I have used for this fanfic. I’d prefer the audience to figure that out as you read along and will mention where they are from in the Note’s page.
I have not gotten permission nor requested to use these different characters from the original creators of each different Fanmade Subaru.
I am also unsure if I'm allowed to do that or not considering my brain constantly says “THIS IS A FANFIC! WHY WOULD YOU NEED PERMISSION TO USE NONCANNON SUBARU’S MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE WHO ALSO MADE NONCANNON SUBARU’S!?”
The reason for that is: I don’t know how to even contact them at all, nor have an idea which platform I should use to converse with them.
I will definitely give shoutouts to the creators of each different Subaru I used for different chapters, I will give links to their Archive accounts and fanfic’s at the Note’s page. (This is plagiarism in its finest).
I will apologise to those creators if they don’t approve of their used fanmade Subaru in my fanfic. Too late now tho, my brain already made up my mind.
Don’t feel too bad if your favorite fanmade Subaru does not make it into my fanfic.
If it makes you feel better, I'll leave off with this note. I will mainly collect Subaru’s who have been connected to fanfics revolving around a movie theater – either they are watching in the theater or the Re:Zero cast is reacting to a specific Subaru on the screen.
I'll give my reason (sometimes) to why I chose these specific fanfic Subaru’s, and which chapter I took them from on the notes page.
However, theater epilogues like;
“Re: Consequences IF.” - by ThinkMind
“The Secret.” - by Continuer123
Or controversially,
“Hey you, you are finally awake.” - by SilverZero
Will not be included as they have a continuation of different plot, fit for different purposes that don’t associate for reactions, as they are the aftermath from watching in the theater.
I will also not include theater fanfic Subaru’s that are set in different languages other than English. Purely because it will take longer than I would think and I do not want to consistently keep using translation tools.
To not completely upset everyone, I will have ONE fanfic Subaru that is from a different translation. I already have one in mind, but I won’t tell you until that comes up.
If I go on, I might also use the creators fanmade Subaru’s who have made a separate fanfic not relating to their theater fanfic.
Furthermore, trying to interpret the different Subaru’s mannerisms from across different fanfics will be hard, but I'll try not to disappoint.
I may have, or have not read too deep into all the different personalities in their fanfics. Again, please don’t sh*t on me in the comments for not leading me up to your expectations.
That means, there will be some confusing parts then and there from what has been noted in statements made from that respective fanfic will maybe… definitely altered to fit my alternative.
EXTREMELY SORRY for that last note.
More importantly:
I have not read the light novels nor know everything about the cannon IF Subarus.
On that note: Not all the Non-Cannon timelines/If Routes – Sin or not a sin – (also written by Tappei) will be included in this fanfic. This also includes if I did use an IF Route Subaru, it won’t COMPLETELY follow its canon timeline, I might spike some things then and there or take someone else’s fanmade IF Route Subaru.
This is probably not gonna happen but it would be really fun for someone to make a fanfic of the Re:Zero cast watching this fanfic in a theater, whether it be the Subaru from the theater I took them from or a completely new one at that. If you ask me to do it, expect nothing. If someone does it, make the title Re:Zero Cast Watching The Cinema-Verse: Velorum Cluster. or Re:Cinema-Verse: Watching Velorum Cluster.
Why did I choose THIS as my first ever fanfic? Blame Theater Of Despair/WHDAAA. I’VE READ TOO MUCH FANFICS INVOLVING RE:ZERO THEATERS. THEY'RE THE REASON WHY I GOT INTO RE:ZERO IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I CAN’T STOP! SOMEONE HELP ME!!! (SEND ME MORE TO READ!!!).
