Summary
Madelyn 'Maddie' Sinclair is a prolific murderer, though all of her killings only ever become cold cases in the Missing Persons file stack of local precincts. For ten years, she's used her job as an elevator repair technician and the quirks of a crumbling old tenement called the Statler Building to hide her sins. What she doesn't know is that something dwells in that building. Something that drinks down the pain and death Maddie inflicts.
