Transporter

Summary:

To escape her troubles, Taylor Hebert likes to drive her father's old car. After a chance encounter on a late night cruise, Lisa Wilbourn gives her a job as a transporter, driving cargoes from point A to point B, no questions asked.

Just like the legendary wheelman Deadhand used to, in his old car. Danny thought he left his past behind after he walked away from the life to raise his baby girl. He never should have taught her to drive the way he used to if he wanted it to stay that way.

IN THE YEAR OF OUR FORD 1996 DANIEL "DEADHAND" HEBERT RETIRED FROM HIS CRIMINAL JOB AS A TRANSPORTER, CARRYING ILLEGAL, DANGEROUS, OR JUST PLAIN VALUABLE CARGOES ANYWHERE ON THE EAST COAST.

THE ONCE-LEGENDARY WHEELMAN IN THE BROCKTON UNDERWORLD HAD A LITTLE GIRL.  HE DEDICATED HIMSELF TO BEING A LOVING FATHER AND GOOD HUSBAND INSTEAD OF THE BEST DAMN DRIVER IN BROCKTON BAY.

15 YEARS LATER, HIS DAUGHTER HAS TAKEN UP THE TRADE. THIS IS HER STORY... IN HER DAD'S LEGENDARY OLD CAR... OR JUST HIS CIVIC. DEPENDS ON HOW LONG THE DRIVE IS, THE CIVIC GETS GREAT MILEAGE AROUND TOWN, Y'KNOW.
