It was just a normal day for toothfairy, she had taken a short leave from work and during it she managed to collect a few more teeth to add to her ever growing collection:

The click of a car door closing intruded the soft cricketing and bustling of the nature surrounding the motel she had temporarily stayed in, it was almost time to get back to work making sure the children at the foundation were well and continued to keep their teeth healthy. Toothfairy decided to make one last stop to spend her leave at its fullest, the radio played the same music she had heard for almost the entire week using it as white noise to fill in the silence of the car.
She kept her eyes on the road and her head below the clouds, the sun slowly went down as the long drive continued on. The jar on the passenger's seat lightly glowing and clinked with every small bump and hole they passed, soon she would leave her body on autopilot to drive as she let her thoughts take other and pass through her mind.
She reminisced on her studies, the children at the foundation, her teeth collection and even her parent’s lessons yet it all came to a halt as she felt one of her car’s tires hitting something sharp and deflating.
“Damn it…”
She cursed softly underneath her breath as she turned the wheel to make an emergency stop, the next station was miles away from where she was heading. Toothfairy went out of the car and investigated how badly the wheel broke, if it was just a small nail then she would’ve decided to continue driving on until she reached a nearby gas station but if it was broken to the point of being a hazard on the road it would be best to wait for help or call somebody.
The sun had begun resting with the moon taking its place in the sky, the warmth of the sun getting replaced with the cool crisp air of the night. The once vibrant green trees shrouded themselves in the shadows as the nocturnal animals came out of their homes in search of food, the sound of crickets and other creatures alike filled the air once again.
Having the sudden feeling of unease wash over her, Toothfairy could feel their beady little yellow eyes glare into her figure. There was something wrong but she couldn’t pin point what it was, her pickle jar in her hands she stood cautiously her eyes surveyed her surroundings in search of whatever was stalking, creeping at her.
The sound of a carriage rumbling in the far distance made Toothfairy snap her head to where the muffled sound was coming from, was it behind her or in front of her? She cursed once again, It was messing it with her hearing.
It grew closer and closer.
Before she could fully make sense of where this mysterious creature was, the sound of a horse neighing was just by her side and when she turned her expression was one of shock as a dark carriage loomed over her. She remembers the horse’s unnatural glowing eyes shone through the darkness of the night before everything went to black.
