Valentine's Day

Summary:

“Heey, Kee-boy!” Kokichi suddenly spoke. “I didn't know robots could be so gloomy!” He smirked. Kiibo had gotten used to Kokichis robophobic remarks, however, he still strongly dislikes it. “If you are here to be robophobic, I advise you to leave! Robots can feel emotion, too!”
Kiibo replied. His gaze, stubbornly, was on the window. Kokichis smirk hadn't wavered. “Mnn, you really haven't changed. Robots are sooo weird.”

Or: Kokichi and Kiibo have a special movie night together.

It wasn't just any day at Hopes Peak. It

was Valentines day.

Kiibo wasn't really... interested, in lovey-dovey stuff. He was still learning love. He was too afraid he'd mess things up.

However, as he walked through the loud halls, pink and red decorations shined from the walls. Other students—who he didn't recognize, were chatting loudly about it. He didn't pay much attention.

His mind was fixed, elsewhere. Or, his inner voice. Go to the libary, it spoke to him. He didn't know why. His inner voice was weird. So, he moved his legs and forced himself to make his way to the library. He bumped into a few people on the way, but he didn't manage to apologize, because one of them yelled at him. He didn't stop running, no, he made his way to the libary.

As he opened the libary doors, he was greeted with the warm, fuzzy scent of books. He smiled, lightly, to himself. Kiibo was still wondering why most students didn't like reading. It was comforting.

He walked to a shelf and grabbed a book by its spine. He didn't even read the title, the colors seemed dull enough to be a chapter book. He didn't, for some reason, enjoy illustration books. He liked reading without any pictures, leaving his imagination at work.

He decided to sit down on a chair, and start reading. His gaze was wobbly. He didn't understand a single thing he was reading. Kiibo doesn't recall him charging himself. Or in simpler terms, he didn't sleep. That must explain why he is so slow today.

He is snapped out of his thoughts when someone bursts through the libary door, loudly. His gaze looks up to see, the one person who he just couldn't understand, Kokichi. His 'grand' entrance was a disruption. When he looked around, it was clear on the other students faces, they all thought the same thing. He sometimes didn't understand humans like Kokichi.

However, thankfully, it looked like Kokichi was only here for Shuichi. Kiibo didn't care (that was a lie he told himself), however, he was quite curious. They looked like they were having.. I guess, an okay time. Whatever Kokichi was telling Shuichi, it was definitely not good. It did not look serious, so it was definitely one of Kokichis tricks. Why did he even care so much? It wasn't his business.

Its not my business. Not at all.

His gaze drifted to Kokichi.

Why won't you calm down, Keebo?

It was lunch. Kiibo was not excited. He couldn't exactly.. eat. Since he was a robot. It felt shameful to sit down and watch the others eat. That was why he would (almost, because Miu wouldn't stop bugging him, and Kaede tried to bring him in sometimes) always skip lunch, but today, he didn't.

He walked into the cafeteria and took an empty seat away from most of his class. He wasn't feeling it today. Maybe tomorrow, when he charges himself completely, he'll feel much better than he does currently. He felt bitter, empty, dull. He couldn't describe this feeling. Did humans feel this, to?

He sighed, and looked out the window. It was only then, someone slipped by and sat across from him. Kiibos gaze landed on that person. And he wasn't expecting what he saw.

Kokichi. Why is he here? Out of everyone. He must be here for some reason.

Robots can feel emotion, too!” Kiibo replied. His gaze, stubbornly, was on the window.

Kokichis smirk hadn't wavered. “Mnn, you really haven't changed. Robots are sooo weird.”

Kiibo didn't respond to that, but he wasn't actually mad.

“Why are you here, anyways, Ouma?” Kiibo decided to ask instead, breaking the silence that seemed to eat him alive.

“Can't I visit my best robot friend? Mm?” Kokichi teasingly said. Kiibo didn't buy it one bit, considering the other male was a self proclaimed "liar".

“Ouma I know you are not being truthful, just tell me... Why are you here?” Kiibo pushed. Unexpectedly, Kokichis smirk fades for a fraction of a second. However, a manicky smile appears right after.

"Ah, you know me so well! Of course, I would be lying! Who would want to be friends with a robot? Not me!” Kokichi says instead. He was dodging the question Kiibo was so desperate to know the answer to.

Kiibo pauses. He searches Kokichi face, but he can't read him. The other was either really good at controlling his facial expressions, or that was just how he looked all the time.

“Ugh, fine, fine! Stop.. looking at me like that!” Kokichi suddenly bursts out. This takes Kiibo by surprise. “The great, awesome, Ultimate Supreme Leader, me, obviously, is inviting you to hangout!” Kokichi can't hide the way his tone seeps with false hope. However, Kiibo catches this. Did Kokichi actually want to hangout?

“... If that's what you would like.. Then, sure. I don't mind.” Kiibo decides to go with a kinder approach. As much as he feels like this would be a bad idea, he is curious about the other boy.

“Yay! Thank you, Kee-boy! Hmm, how about this, after school, Ill tell you my secret hideout! Its no ordinary house! Infact, sometimes the members of my secret, awesome, organization comes to visit my hideout!”

Kokichi rambles, and Kiibo can't drift his eyes away from Kokichi. He didn't believe in Ouma-kuns, 'organization', but he could tolerate listening to Kokichi ramble about it.

"Thats nice, Kokichi. Very believable.”

“Aww man! Does Kee-boy not trust me? Dude, my organization is real! Its secret for a reason!”

Kiibo can't actually believe he's doing this as he looks up at what he believes to be Oumas house. He feels insanely hesitant, like he's doing something wrong. The house looks fairly modern, but it's Kokichis house, so it's probably not as normal as it seems.

He steps forward and slowly knocks on Oumas door. Nothing happens for a moment, like the time and the world decided to freeze. Kiibo almost considers leaving before the door opens. Of course, his sight is greeted with none other than Ouma. He doesn't know why he agreed to this in the first place.

“Finally, you are here! I've been waiting all day, yknow! Dont make me get my secret organization to kill ya!” Kokichi jokes.

Kiibo does not get this joke, however. He actually would prefer to stay alive. “... Is that supposed to be a threat? I will report you to the au-” Ouma interrupts Kiibo and his shit-eating grin does not go away at this question. If anything, it seems that his grin widens.

“Well, duh! Dont underestimate the Ultimate Supreme Leader!” Kokichi boasts, and he takes a step back and urges Kiibo to go inside. Hesitantly, Kiibo steps inside. Now what he was expecting wasn't far off from what he saw.

For some reason, everywhere, like everywhere, was covered in black and white fabric hanging up by the walls. Kiibo decided to not ask Kokichi about it. He'd prefer if the other male would keep his secrets to himself, considering everything he has heard about his organization.

Kokichi leads Kiibo upstairs to what he calls his room. It was the same downstairs. Weird-looking fabric everywhere, but it did have what you need for sleep. A bed. A desk (with papers that had words that Kiibo would prefer not to talk about) a bathroom, and a TV. He can't exactly name the other stuff he's seeing without sounding crazy.

“Taaa-daaa! Applaud, everyone! My awesome room!” Kokichi yells out to no one in particular. What comes next is actually very expected. Kiibo does not want to clap for Kokichi.

Theres a deafening beat of silence. And then Kiibo breaks the silence, after when the clapping should normally end. “Theres only us here, and I'm not clapping, Kokichi.” Kiibo mutters, more to himself that anything, but Ouma still hears.

"Owww.. Robots are soo insensitive! My poor feelings! You're so mean!” Kokichi says sarcastically, however fake crocodile tears start to form in his eyes. For a moment, Kokichi pretends to wipe the fake tears away. “I'm better now. Hmph.” He murmurs.

Kiibo chooses not to respond to that. He is used to Kokichis fake crying aswell, but not as much as Shuichi. The poor dude probably suffers this everyday!(exaggerated, but still) Kiibo was considering asking Kokichi about why he does that.

Kiibo instead, asks Kokichi something different. “What are we going to do?” In all honesty, Kiibo wasn't very experienced in stuff like these.

“Watch a movie, duh!” Kokichi states pridefully, leaping onto his bed. Kiibo stands exactly where he is, like silently asking for permission to follow him. He didn't want to break any boundaries. “Okay then.” Kiibo mumbles.

Kokichi notices, though. “Dude, come on! Are you not gonna follow me?” This was Kiibos sign to slowly walk over to Kokichis abomination of a bed and sit by the edge. Kokichi nods and picks up his remote by his desk.

He turns on the TV and plays some random movie. It was a horror movie. Kiibo didn't exactly enjoy those. It felt frightening to him. “Are we... gonna watch that?” Kiibo asks worriedly.

“Yes, yes we are, Kee-boy! Don't chicken out now!” Kokichi says with slight giddy. He couldn't wait to see the look on Kiibos face at the scariest parts of the movie! It would be so hilarious! “How do humans find this stuff entertaining....?” Kiibo glances off to the side, muttering to himself.
