Summary
Eugene Ottinger, the prince of his kingdom, stands as one of the most known royals amongst the others.
As a boy, he had always dreamt of standing out, shining in respect and glory, but now he only wishes to hide from it. He's infamously known as a Swarmer, a rarer descendant of the noble family's usual powers of controlling wildlife, nature and other vital life. It's an inelegant sort of ability; one he never wanted to find out in the worst way possible.
So, he assumed from here on out, every interaction between a noble boy would end short in an awkward pause, or a noble girl avoiding him after believing it'd be possible to court him and steal his heart and wealth.
Until a mysterious boy intrudes on him during his banquet. A boy he had never seen before yet couldn't pull away from; it was as if they had met before, perhaps somewhere in the past, somewhere in his childhood. But there's no way, it could be the same boy, could it?
