Chapter 1: It begins with darkness and ends with...

Chapter Text

Darkness.

It went on forever.

Darkness.

Her vision blurred using the bat she couldn't even see to swing in front to feel if it hit anything.

Darkness.

Her heartbeat continued to rise as she walked forward...or what she thought was forward as even walking down hometowns streets didn't go on this far.

Darkness.

Quickly pulling the bat closer she panted continuing on her hooves stomping on…something? All she could do was continue on nonstop in the direction she choose…is it still the same one? Is she back where she started? There's no way that made sense, all she could do was feel her heartbeat to lead the way as any form of sensation in the…

By this point it would make sense anyone would go insane right? The worst part was the constant hunger and thirst it was continuous without end. Death would be better than this. Didn't gerson say you could survive without food for…how long?

It must have been longer than this right. She can't tell anymore any other sensation such as passing out would help but despite the mountain of exhaustion crushing down on her she couldn't sleep. Nothing let her rest her eyes. Closing them just made the darkness even worse. She wished she died. She wished she was back outside. She wanted it all to be over. She hoped they were safe and they would get help for k…s and ...iel… and n…le… she stopped walking…had she been walking still during this time? It probably didn't matter.

The reason she stopped it was a deep feeling of despair that made her stop.

But why would she stop moving forward about something she can't remember?

All she could do was grip the bat's hilt. The wooden ivory drenched and darkened by the blood from her calloused hand obsessively holding onto it as the only thing she could grab.

Gripping onto the bat coated in her darkened blood she moved forward again.

She.
Moved.
Wished.
Forward.
Hoped.
It would.
Be over.
She needed to get out.
She needed to die.
