Hanco’s pov
I yawn. Ugh, it’s really bright for winter. I jump off the top bunk and pull on the coat red puffy coat I stole from the lost in found (why was is even there-? wait because the yearly random freeze in summer that never makes sense, nevermind). Anyways, I look out the window- AH SATURATION MY EYES. But it’s snowing! I put on my shoes, and dash through the 2 inch snow to get to the mess hall, where only Tony and Stellar made it, and someone (probably Tony) boiled some water for hot cocoa, and are eating some cereal.
“G’Morning!” I exclaim, to which Tony tiredly says “morning”, and Stellar enthusiastically waves. I reheat some of the water and make some hot chocolate and pour some cereal. While eating i ask “anyone want to go play in the snow or something after we do our dishes?” I ask while eating. Stellar replies with a sigh, saying “No, i’m tired and it’s my turn to clean our cabin.” but Tony says “sure”
I quickly eat and do my dishes. Though the water is cold. Very cold. Like I’m surprised it’s not frozen cold. I thoroughly dry my hands because i don’t want to risk getting sick. Being sick is the worst. Anyways I wait for Tony to finish and run outside, dragging him along.
Once we’re outside, I enthusiastically say “We should build a snowman!!!!” Why is Tony so cool. ANYWAYS. Tony shrugs and says “sure”. We start rolling snow to make the layers of the snowman, casually chating. Oh, wow he’s really strong. SHUT UP BRAIN. I feel my face turn slightly hot. Probably just the cold wind. We stack the snowballs and i say “I’ll go find some sticks to use!” I go find some wet skinny sticks that wouldn’t have wouldn’t have made good kindling anyway and put them in. While I was gone Tony had made a face using pebbles and stones. I put the arm sticks in and exclaim “we did it!” before adding with a weak joke “Though we should make sure nobody froze to death” to which Tony chuckles and say “yeah”
When me and Tony get inside, Stellar, Sam, River, & Kate are in a intense game of Uno. Stellar is winning. I give a small wave and join the chatter, and so does Tony. Before we know it we’re all arguing about who’s the best at uno and just having fun together
Eventually, Sam, Tony, Stellar & me work together to clear a space and make a fire. Once we finish, we sit down around the fire for warmth. I end up sitting next to Tony, who is yawning, so I ask “all good?” to which Tony says “yeah just tired” we roast some vegetarian sausage and have some water for dinner and kinda chill out there for warmth, small chatter all around. I kinda zone out for a bit but next thing I know Tony has fallen asleep again me and I’m blushing like crazy. I let it be for what I’d guess was 10 minutes before going and putting him on his bunk and then going to sleep in my bunk.
