Chapter Text
When you told Grace there would be cheers and celebration upon her return from the hospital, she really didn’t believe you. It wasn’t until drinks were clinked in the large conference room just a floor down from your shared desks that Grace finally smiled and said, “Okay, I believe you now!”
She was the only person you’d become friends with at this particular branch in the FBI. It was one thing to hear that she was being sent to the same hotel that another investigator had turned up dead at, it was another to come face-to-face with Grace again in her apartment, arms covered in bandages and scratches. She didn’t really offer much of an explanation beyond saying how happy she would be to return to normal life again.
Whatever that meant, you were glad she was okay nonetheless.
The lights were turned low enough to seem slightly inviting but it was still just a conference room party. Long grey tables lined the edges of the room, draped in plasticky thin lining. There was an assortment of charcuterie, plates, and napkins beckoning you.
It wasn’t like you didn’t know how to have fun.
Grace spotted you, seated, minding your own business, in a tight corner of the room on high stool. Squeezing past people to get closer to you, she had a wide smile and two cups to offer You gladly received the beverage. It had a pleasant smell, which made sense. Why would your company allow you to drive home drunk? A sip. Fruity and tart.
“I-I’d ask what you’re doing over here by yourself but I was j-just about to look for a place to chill out.” she let out a giggle. You felt bad, knowing she was already overstimulated from her own party.
“At least you don’t have to worry about Mr. Dempsy knocking you for a report?” you offer quietly.
“I actually, He, uh, already wanted to know how far along I am on it not too long ago.” Her eyes dart around before adding, “It’s annoying”. Jeez. You look around to see if your boss is anywhere nearby and notice him speaking to an older gentleman just a short length away from you. He was wearing a dark leather coat. Dark blonde hair, at least in this light, a slight darkness to his chin and upper lip suggesting facial hair. You just can’t help but notice how firm and muscular he was compared to everyone else in the room. Your eyes must’ve lingered for a lot longer than you realise, as Grace tries to regain your attention via waving hand.
“Are you in there?” You look her way. There’s a level of guilt in your stomach you feel for staring at a stranger. It was a good thing he didn’t notice you.
“Do you know who that guy is over by our boss?” You ask, nodding your head in the proper direction of the two men. Grace turned her head, light blonde hair flowing as she scanned the room for the man you were speaking of.
Her eyes lit up instantly.
She seemed to recognise him, judging from the building smile on her face. She starts to get up from her seat.
“That’s Leon.”
Leon? As in, the DSO guy who had helped save your friend, that Leon? Grace didn’t spare much else, you watch her as she excitedly greets Leon with an embrace, striking up a conversation immediately. He gives Grace a half grin, his hair falling over one side of his face as his arms wrap around her small frame. He seems to hold her so… gently.
You are staring again. You force your eyes back down, back at your drink and plate of cheese that tastes like meat and meat that tastes like cheese (why do the flavours always mix?) and squint your eyes.
Why are you staring at this guy so damn much? You could just… go say hello to him, you reason with yourself, but then you wonder; What would you two talk about?
“Hello, I’m the co-worker friend of the woman you helped save, nice to meet you!” You played out the introduction in your head. You feel embarrassed. This is just a work party, at the end of the day. What would it serve to even introduce yourself anyways? Mr. Dempsy had requested you to turn in your set of reports from a recent case by Monday, and it was Thursday, so reasonably you should just leave.
It was weird for you to stay any longer, right?
Grace had found someone better to talk to at this party, anyways.
The food was getting nauseating to pick at, and dissociating in the corner of a low-lit conference room was just not the way you wanted to spend the rest of this evening.
He’s just some guy.
You nod to no one in particular as a way to shake yourself out of your head, and get up from the high stool. Your hand on one drink, the other holding your plate, you twist your body around. The low lighting, combined with your swift movement away from the tight corner knocked your balance a slight bit. A cheese slice slid off your plate and onto the floor.
You bend down to grab it and place it back onto your plate. The music in the room changed to something light. It was nauseatingly corporate.
Time to go. Sorry, Grace. You think to yourself how silly it must look for you to pick up cheese off the floor. You need to find a trash can. It’s right by the napkins. You pass by co-workers from other departments, avoiding eye-contact, and finally make it to the small trash can and see a note pasted above the lid reading, “NO Liquids. Thanks!” The look of incredulity couldn’t escape you. The drink in your hand was practically half full.
You let out a small frustrated sigh. There was a bathroom sink, you think to yourself, somewhere. Probably. This part of the building wasn’t part of your usual routes.
“Excuse me,” a gravely, polite voice called out from your right. You turn to see the man who’d caught your attention earlier. Leon.
“Uh,” You blink up at him. Up close, you can see the fine lines around his mouth. There was something so alluring about his gaze when you finally allowed yourself to settle on it for a moment. The music washed out your other senses like a spell. Why was this man so pretty?
You broke his gaze first.
“Am I in your way?” You ask him, looking for a reason to move away from him all of the sudden. He shakes his head at you. His blonde hair was speckled with white. It waves with his breath when he replies, “Grace was telling me about you.”
Grace was talking about you to Leon? You twisted around to look for her and couldn’t see her anywhere. You returned your gaze back to him awkwardly, “I promise I’m nothing special,” you laugh. It wasn’t meant to sound like an insult; at least you didn’t think so but the expression on Leon’s face suggested you may have said something wrong. He fixed his furrowed expression. You introduce yourself formally, reaching a hand out to shake his. it’s heavy and callused. He squeezes it gently and reaches your gaze again.
“I hear you’re a very talented analyst who’s helped Grace complete her reports on time more than she says she cares to admit,” He smirks at you. “Doesn’t sound like someone unimportant to me.”
The smile he gives flusters you. You awkwardly point to the sign on the trash can to change the subject. “I was just about to dump this out but I don’t think housekeeping would appreciate me much for that.” Such a painfully dull thing to say, you think, but Leon obliges the subject change.
“I was thinking the exact same thing.” He wiggles the cup he’s holding.
There’s a look in his eyes that you can’t place. Is he having fun watching you squirm in front of him like this? No one else in the room seems to care about their conversation but you feel like all eyes are on you.
Leon glances down at your hands and back up at your face and you meet his gaze once more.
His eyes are strikingly beautiful, even in this dim room. You can’t deny that he’s attractive. Your body is sending you signals to advance on him, to let yourself be tempted by the growing feeling of arousal. But how would you? He barely knows you. You look towards the exit.
“There’s a bathroom, nearby I think. For our drinks.” Why was it so hard to form a proper sentence around this man? You were just a friend of Grace’s. Nothing more.
Leon ran a hand through one of his back pockets, as if to check for something, before telling you to lead the way. He gave such direct eye contact, like he was truly looking at you. Seeing you, watching your body move under his gaze. It was unnerving in a way that was difficult to grasp.
So, you lead the way out of the room, still not seeing Grace. Where in the hell was she? You’d have to find her on your way back in. Leon’s heavy footsteps echo behind you, the clunk of each shoe signalling how close behind he was. You really don’t know where you’re going and slowly, a sweat builds on your palms. There’s got to be a sign hanging off the side of a door frame, somewhere.
The direction you decided to walk along in this wide open hallway gave no impression that there was anyone else. Leon’s footsteps began to match your pace alongside the right of you, accompanying you in tandem. The slight swish of his shirt passing over his muscular chest was pounding in your ears.
“Such a long hallway for a short trip,” He says next to you, a slight air of carelessness to his tone. The joke makes you huff and smile, agreeing with him openly.
“Truthfully,” You turn and meet eyes briefly, catching you off guard. The way his wrinkles frame his eyes have you stuttering again. You look back ahead quickly and return to speaking, “I don’t really know where I’m going. I’m hoping there’s a bathroom out here, is what I guess I should’ve said earlier.”
Leon laughs and keeps his pace with you.
You want to crawl into the nearest outlet and never be seen again.
Why did you even pretend to know what you were doing? It was ridiculous.
And now he’s laughing at you. Your chest had felt tight, the feeling in your throat was stiff and rocky. He looks over at you, and his smile fades into an earnest look. “We’ll just have to keep walking until we find a sign on the wall then.” The tension you felt ebbs almost instantly. He chose to reassure you just now. You turned to look at him again, honestly. His gaze remained forward. His eyebrows were relaxed, his firm jaw straight and set.
He’s so attractive, you think. So pretty.
“And would you look at that,” He remarks, pointing ahead with a forefinger at the sign ahead, a universal “restroom” sign.
“It’s really funny that they try to have us come out this way to dump our drinks, but it makes sense” You say, trying not to sound annoyed. There’s two single stall gender neutral bathrooms with a single sink on the opposite side in this particular restroom space, floor to ceiling walls for the stalls. You motion to pour your drink out first and then turn to find a trash can. Leon does the same. You turn and are facing him. It feels… intimate, sudden. He doesn’t move away. You can barely stand this closeness. His cologne is rich on your senses. Both of you stand here, in this restroom, far removed from the conference room that has everyone’s attention. You want to move your limbs out of this semi-enclosed space but with Leon’s body as close as he is to you right now, seeing him make such direct eye contact with you…
It was ridiculous to think he’d want to do anything with you. Where would you even go? What would you even do? You didn’t realise your breathing was getting shaky until one of Leon’s hands reached out to touch your elbow.
“I’m not usually one for company but…” His eye contact breaks, and his hand falls. Leon’s wrinkles squeeze together, his eyes shine for a second as his concentration breaks. He looks at the floor. You want to cradle his jaw for some reason.
“Do you want to leave together and come back home to my place?” You blurt out suddenly. It was as if something possessed you.
He looks back up at you with an expression of need. Lust. The hand on your elbow softens, glides up your forearm suddenly. the calloused feeling of his fingertips grazing your skin tickles, sending a wave of sensations throughout your whole body in waves. He’s just so gentle.
“Yes,” Whispering, pulling you close so suddenly it almost scared you away. His other hand came to tilt your face up at his, planting his lips onto yours wetly. It tastes fruity and tart.
His mouth works methodically, opening over your own lips and introducing his tongue as one of his hands cupped your jaw. You melt instantly. Kissing him back felt natural, instinctual, like you’d already done it millions of times before. His tongue guides your lips open greedily, wet noises slapping off the walls of the area.
It felt so addicting. Wasn’t Grace the one who drove you here? You kissed him back. You could just tell him where you live. He gently slides his hand towards your waist, pulling you closer. Dominating the kiss, both of his hands grasp you, holding your body exactly where he wanted you. You’ll just tell him where you live. You decide to slide your hands up his back. He lets out a soft sigh in your mouth. Yes, you you need to fuck Leon. Now. Nerves be damned. The heat in you is building to a breaking point. You pull away, spit trailing between Leon’s lips and your own.
“Can you drive us to my place?” You pant. He nods. You already have everything that you need to go home.
“I want to drive us to your place but I might not be able to if you’re gonna be sitting so pretty next to me the whole way there”.
This man. You shake your head. “I can sit in the back seat?” He kisses you again, deeper than last time, hungry for touch. Leon’s tongue smears, rubs yours in a way that is so unlike the way he uses his hands. He pulls back just slightly and whispers into your lips, “You’re staying right where I want you.” You force a swallow. You tell him on the way out to the parking lot where you live, insisting to pull out your phone and allow the GPS system to navigate his way out. He insists he didn’t need it.
“I don’t believe you.” At least the seats are nice.
Well, weirdly enough, fifteen minutes later, this man manages to pull up right to your apartment, on the right side of the building, facing the correct side of the street.
“I know this town like the back of my hand.” He flicks his hair off to the side with one hand. It was so funny, how much he wasn’t necessarily trying to be cool. You unbuckle your seatbelt, open the door, and get out. Leon does the same.
The streetlights were the only thing illuminating you as Leon’s car officially shut off. Your nerves started to return. You wanted him. He said he’d wanted you but… now that you’re here, how would you go about inviting him in? Do you lead the way? The front door to your place was just a few steps ahead. You got your keys out from your pocket. Leon was glancing back and forth between you and your door. You wanted to just tell him to go home, that maybe you weren’t cut out for one night stands, something.
“Hey,” His rough tone, ever so gentle, called you out of your head. “It’s okay if you changed your mind. This isn’t something I normally do either”. You looked up at him again. You let out a deep breath, the weights in your legs lightening enough for you to move to his side of the street. It wasn’t like you didn’t want him. You rubbed your elbows, looking down for a brief moment before trying to explain that you were just nervous but all that came out was “I want you, I just don’t know what to do.” The embarrassment started to creep in again. Maybe you weren’t ready for this sort of thing.
Leon studied you, his gaze casting so much empathy onto you. It was almost suffocating.
He spoke softly into the air, “I want you, too.”
Leon tilted your head up towards his, cupping your chin with delicate grace. Your hands went up to his hips. “We can do this however you want… but I need you, tonight.”
Those words were all that mattered. You needed to hear that. You lean in, kissing him. Leon kisses back, throwing his other hand around your back and pinning you close. His tongue slides through your mouth easily and you fall back into the dance from earlier. Your nerves are disappearing with each lick Leon sends over your lips. He moves a hand towards your hips, resting at the hem. You decide to copy his desparacy, allowing a hand to trail a bicep. It’s soft, a squishy layer of fat resting below his bicep muscles and making him feel bulkier than he looks. It’s so attractive. He lets you trace the outline of his nipple through the button-up shirt he has on, kissing you deeper. A hand grips your ass and a moan slips out from your lips. You feel him smile.
You pull away. He has you so weak from just a kiss and he knows it now. You need to get him inside.
You pull away from his embrace, mumbling about the door needing to be unlocked. He simply gave a small laugh, following you close behind. “I’d hope we don’t get any unwanted guests.” His jokes were reassuring, it settled an unease in you that you hadn’t realised was there. You stepped out of your shoes. It felt so formal anytime you did something. You didn’t really know what Leon saw in you, this awkwardness that seemed to permeate into everything you did. There was a weight on the back of your head, as if eyes were watching your every move- you turned and saw Leon staring. At least, he had been, until you turned to look his way. He looked away with a bit of sheepish embarrassment that one might see on a guilty boy. Adorable.
“You’re very beautiful, or I mean, handsome” He’s getting shy.
“Both are fine,” You say. You aren’t cautious anymore around him, he really doesn’t seem to want to harm you or tease you.
“That’s good,” He looks back at you, that piercing gaze striking into your core. He moves to touch your face, “Because you’re gorgeous to me.” He kisses you and the world goes away once more. The rough feel of the hairs on his upper lip graze your skin. It’s rough and soft all at once, his tongue reaching out once more to taste you. Hands meet hips with intensity, bringing contact with it.
You tug at his belt, the clip slipping with a clank and clatter. It was an eager and bold move but after all this, you needed to feel his skin. He didn’t motion away from it, sighing openly. Your front door was barely closed and you were tearing the clothes off of this guy you’d only just met.
Fuck.
Leon was pressing his hands underneath your pants, pushing them off of your hips with ease. it freed your skin quicker than it had freed his and it made you freeze once more. Were you going too fast?
“we can always slow down,” He calls out to you, breaking your train of thought. No, it wasn’t that, you think. You’re just not sure how to proceed. How to ask for what you want. What words to use. Would he understand how badly you want him if you asked in a weird tone, if the words you chose were slightly off in the moment? Could he really handle how weird you felt all the time, even now? The overthinking was getting to be too much.
Leon caressed your cheek with the back of his hand, leaning down to meet your down-turned gaze. You see him, truly, in the light of your apartment hallway, for the human that he is in this moment. He really is trying to see you, as if to read your mind.
“Everything will be okay.” He whispers.
You see his eyelashes waver. The muscles in his mouth quiver with electricity. He’s so honest, no matter what he’s doing. It’s hard to resist staring back at him so deeply. You really do want him.
“I just don’t really know how to ask for what I want,” you let yourself explain, hoping that it offers some understanding. It probably won’t be enough, you worry.
“I know that I want to touch you but I don’t even know where to start. It’s not about changing my mind, though.” You start to over-explain.
“It really is okay,” He starts to say but you’re already faltering. It’s really not, though, isn’t it? It hasn’t been with anyone else before. Why would it change for him? He brings your face back up towards him with his hands, thumb pressing just underneath your chin.
“Let me take the lead,” Leon pushes a knee into your crotch and a fire lights in you. “Let me show you how okay everything is,” His voice drops even lower in pitch, the gravel in his tone rising through your body like a pebbly earthquake.
“Please?” His eyebrow cocked to the side, the piercing stare that begged for yet another kiss, all of it was just overwhelming. He was so pretty, so kind, so reassuring. You lean in once more and finally give in.
He still tastes of the fruit drink. Sweet, tart. His tongue swirls against the edges of your mouth, hands gripping at the glimpse of skin he’d revealed earlier. The grasp, firmer than his gentle touch from earlier, slipped a moan from your mouth. Leon gasped slightly, pulling you in deeper. It gave you no time to think anymore. You grab for his chest, tracing the muscles of his torso with a fiery hunger that was lying dormant this entire time. You relish in the heat of his body, pulling at the fabric selfishly as his tongue throws your mind around.
He pulls out of the kiss briefly. “I really want to feel your skin on mine,” Leon calls out to you, tugging on your shirt. You barely hear him. You’re already fumbling blindly with his belt, hoping your silent movements convey the message your mouth can’t form.
He seems to understand, following your fingers down to his belt. You let your hands fall away as you begin to take off your shirt. You realise it’s been a really long time since you’d let anyone see this side of you. The sound of Leon’s belt hitting the floor snaps you out of your thoughts and you notice him watching you.
He’s going at your pace, you realise.
“I’m just not used to people seeing my scars,” you say out loud, letting the fear be known.
“I have plenty of scars, too” Leon smiles, lifting his shirt first and letting it fall to the ground. It revealed a battleground. Bullet scars, knife scars, scars you couldn’t even recognise even with your FBI background, littered his entire torso and arms. You notice the ways his body hair stops growing around the scarring, the way the scar tissue and stretch marks form around the softness in his belly and hips. He’s the one who is gorgeous, you think.
“You look beautiful.” Your voice is barely above a whisper. He smirks at you and your mind goes fuzzy. You begin to lift your own shirt off, still happy to feel a lack of resistance as the fabric lifts easily from your frame. You let Leon take you in, waiting for his smirk to drop.
It didn’t.
“Can I kiss them?” The question stuns you. He looks at you, waiting with an expression that couldn’t be just lust, right? You nod. When he hears your permission, the walls inside him seem to melt away, and with it his resistance to slow down. His mouth greets the scarring on your chest as he begins kissing your body. It’s so tender. The roughness of his moustache and chin hairs tickle your nerves.
You bring your hands to cup his jaw on both sides, feeling his lips guide themselves over every inch of the scarring. The sound of each kiss fills your senses with an overwhelming heat.
“Leon,” you moan out, voice weak from the stimulation, “My bedroom is the second door at the end of the hallway.” You know you’re being indirect with your requests but he doesn’t seem to care. Leon lifts his eyes, briefly making eye contact with you. It pierces you.
“Let me take care of you, then”. He lowers himself back in for a kiss and you fold in his hands. He grips your waist briefly. You want him to take control of this but there’s still some resistance- Leon feels it and grips onto your chin once more. This kiss, to you it’s the most emotional one he’s given you up until this point, throwing his neck into the motion as he ravishes your lips and tongue. It’s breath-taking. It’s making your mind go blank again. You moan and lean in, gripping his hips.
He smirks into your kiss.
Leon leans back, pulling your hands into his. His thumbs squeeze, and lead you all at once without giving you a chance to overthink. You slip into the hallway, past the first door, and into the second. It’s open, the bed barely made. Neither of you say a word, you just back onto the bed and start removing your pants. He does the same, the slide of fabric acting like ambience against the pounding of your heartbeat.
He watches you from your position, slightly reclined on your bed, thrown blankets like a fabric. stream with pillows around you like rocks. So naturally beautiful.
“I still think you’re gorgeous,” Leon says, so low, only you could hear it. He begins to lean forward onto the bed. “I want to touch you, everywhere.” He begins to kiss your neck from where he’s leaning. It pushes you naturally downward, your back sliding onto the mattress easily under him. He slots one of his legs between yours, right up against your groin, and begins to suck on your neck and collarbone. You roll your hips up, letting the sensation tingle your nerves.
It almost tickles, the way his facial hair grazes that soft skin. Then, he bites, letting you feel his teeth latch onto your skin, holding it there for a few moments before suckling gently again. He moves his lips everywhere across your body, wanting to kiss every inch of you. Your hips respond, rolling up into the knee that was resting just lightly against you. You’re already wanting more of him, you can feel the heat that builds in your groin rise to a pulsing twinge. You’re getting hard, and the feeling of fabric is getting overstimulating.
“Leon,” You moan out, causing him to look up you. He must see how bad you want to continue beyond kissing now, right? The words were so hard to form out loud.
“Can we, uh,” You glance at his underwear. It’s hard to know if he’s hard in this darkness, even with the moonlight guiding you up until this point. You know that you’re aroused but what if he’s not? You hear the sliding of fabric and a small slap of skin, and in the moonlight you see it. Leon, fully naked, hard as stone and dripping. He leaned forwards once more, the slits of moonlight that were allowing you to see his cock in full definition disappearing in lieu of his face.
His eyes were half-lidded, his gaze relaxed but completely focused on something you couldn’t place. You wanted to reach down and touch him…
He begins kissing before you even begin to overthink this time, as if knowing exactly what was holding you back. He held your face once more, one hand propping himself above you.
It was time to let go.
Your hips rolled onto his cock and it lit you both into a groaning cry. Leon settled his weight onto his forearms, letting go of your face so that he could rut on top of you. You were already so hard, it was difficult to feel like you could get anymore turned on. Your hands were free enough. You stopped rolling your hips to guide the clothing off, feeling the wetness peel off your skin and pubic hair. It was amazing what testosterone could do to the body. You looked at Leon, hoping he’d want to help you take off the rest-he did. You were both completely naked. When Leon returned close to your body, his cock dragged along your leg, settling right between your thighs.
Your eyes met his, the wrinkles in his face begging for your lips. You began kissing his cheeks, his neck, feeling the rough hair as you guided your hips back up into Leon’s.
He let out at groan that you’d never heard from him before. It was deliciously raw and low, and it made you grind up and down on his dick again. He shuddered, sighing loudly with a moan.
“I love the way you roll your hips on me, baby” he breathes, your neck shivers. You keep up the pace, hoping to hear another groan from the man on top of you.
“You sound so pretty,” you say, bravery overtaking you in this moment. His voice makes you shudder. You rut against him again and again, feeling the slick of his precum intermix with your own arousal. The nub of your t-dick rides the sensation of his veins so smoothly with each drag up and down. It’s so hard to stop moving, actually. Your hips start to stutter against his. He’s been letting you control the rhythm up until this point. It’s driving you insane.
Leon moans once more and it’s like heaven to your ears. He starts moving his hips with you, creating an entirely different rhythm that sets you on fire. You let out a small moan, letting your mouth hang open briefly. He takes your mouth in for a kiss as he repeatedly drags his dick along you, rubbing every inch of his cock against your t-dick. It feels so, so fucking good.
Your back starts to arch into his hands, gripping at your hips and pulling you down into him. Leon is huffing, letting out small moans from the back of his throat as he pushes his dick along you. The feeling of hot liquid mixing between you makes you feel drunk.
You grab his chin and pull him in for another kiss, loving how deeply he decides to push his tongue into your mouth this time. The sensation of pleasure was starting to build beyond a level you could handle, your hips begin to stutter under the repeated movements. Leon is grunting louder, sweat building at the edges of his forehead. The way his hair drapes over his face makes you want to grope onto it as you frot deeper together. You yank his head back, pulling your hips up and slamming them back down greedily. He yells out, letting himself kiss you again, on your neck and shoulders, down your arm and back up your neck. He keeps letting out grunts and deep moans every time you move, and it’s clear how close you both are.
The eye contact you make with him sends you over the edge suddenly. How could a man so delicate be so direct? You feel him spill onto your folds, coating the inner parts of you with sticky hot cum. He’s breathing heavily, moisture thick in the air. You struggle to catch your breath, struggle to catch yourself thinking longer than one string of thought right now.
“I don’t mind if you stay the night with me,” You don’t know what possesses you to offer it.
“I think I’m too worn out to drive, tonight” He gently slides off of you, settling off to the side while grabbing a nearby pillow. You curse at yourself for not making the bed. He grabs for the blanket that’s half throw onto the floor and pulls it over the both of you. Leon grabs a pillow from just above your head, pats your shoulder wordlessly to signal you to lift your head. You do, and a pillow is placed underneath it. He settles back next to you, wrapping his arm around you, pulling you in close.
His warmth was the last thing you thought about before drifting off.
