Summary
In evolutionary biology, mimicry is the evolved resemblance of an organism to something else, often another organism of a different species (Wikipedia, 2026). Vampires themselves could be described as mimicking the human species as a form of aggressive mimicry, a wolf in sheep's clothing approach to hunting. They can also use it as a weapon against their own species.
