Chapter Text
"Lupus!"
"Sarcoidosis."
"Tuberculosis?"
All three diagnoses were shouted at the same time from the three ducklings in the conference room. House smirked as he replied,
"Jinx!" He popped a pill.. or six. "ANA was negative, so was the TST." House did "eenie meanie miney moe” with his fingers, mumbling the lyrics before volun-telling his fellows, "Foreman and Cameron, do an MRI. Chase, get the patient's history."
House stumbled into Wilson's office and proudly sat himself across from his best friend.
Wilson didn't look up from his paperwork, he simply scribbled a few more signatures before spouting, "Is this your fourth time walking into my office unannounced today?"
House ignored his remark to kick both his legs on top of Wilson's desk, interrupting the oncologist's work. Finally, he replied, "Mhm."
Wilson, still focused on the papers, told, "It's 12:30." He glanced at House for a moment before continuing to write on the page.
House raised his brows as if to say 'go on,' but when Wilson didn't notice he just replied with, "So?"
"You arrived here quarter-after 12."
House fake-frowned as he asked once again, "So?"
Wilson finally let out the point with a deep, exasperated sigh, "People talk. This.. behavior doesn't exactly help with the allegations."
House raised an eyebrow, getting somewhat frustrated, "What allegations!?"
Wilson shout-whispered angrily at House in response as if someone was listening in, "Gay allegations!"
House huffed as he challenged, "You couldn't last a week dating me."
Wilson raised a brow. Why would House even— "300 bucks that you break before two."
“Bet’s off if anyone finds out it’s fake.”
"And whoever gives it away first loses the bet."
"Bet doesn't even begin until people think we're together!"
"Bet."
