Summary
Felicity had a hole in her tiny heart where it felt like part of her soul was missing. Maybe it was from whatever her life was before this Monastery and the cold walls of the orphanage. Part of her hoped it was her future waiting for her beyond the desolate life she had here. She liked to fantasise about it at night; a life with her favourite food on the table every night, two parents that would kiss her forehead before tucking her in, and maybe even a brother that she shared a room with and they’d stay up talking even after bedtime. Sometimes she’d dream of it, then she’d wake up and that hole in her heart felt even bigger than before as she prayed to the God she didn’t believe in that maybe her tears could fill it up instead.
What she didn’t know, though, was that there was another lonely soul in the Monastery that was starting to wake up after centuries beneath the surface. The demons of her past urging her to rise and go help that little soul flourish into the dark leader he’d one day become…
