Summary
They didn’t break up badly, Charles and him, didn’t end up enemies. They just knew it wouldn’t last.
But every once in a while, when Seb can’t fall asleep, he wishes he had been a better person and treated Charles more like an adult. A decade’s extra worth of experience made that tough back then. Seb likes to think that he would do better by Charles now.
“He’s- asking for you,” Max finally says, and the reluctance in his voice is so obvious. “He’s asking for you, and he won’t let me- I can’t help him. Not the way he needs.”
charles goes into heat. seb and max have some figuring out to do.
