Stelle dreamed of a small corner of Amphoreus that now existed only in memory. A place where the west wind brushed gently against her face, sweeping across endless golden wheat fields and carrying the scent of wild grass far and wide. The sky there didn’t shine as brilliantly as the Holy City’s, yet it needed no lie to sustain it. She vaguely remembered lying in those near-endless fields of wheat, eyes lifted toward clouds soaked in the hues of sunset, ears attentive to the trivial stories told by the one beside her. His deep, warm voice had always lulled her to sleep as easily as breathing, so much so that she had once believed she would never again be able to rest without it.
Stelle dreamed of him. She missed him so much it was driving her insane. His final farewell after he passed on the role of Deliverer to her had haunted her sleep even now. How long had it been since she last saw him?
