Romance

(I'm not good at descriptions.)

Also on Wattpad under golden.hour.glow

Notes:

This story is going to be y/a so there will be swearing and kissing but nothing more than that (unless I change my mind half way through) I will just leave bits on cliff hangers and let your imagination run free….
Any comments/plot ideas are much appreciated.
This is my first time writing a fan fic and any kind of romance book so please be patient.
I am a very busy person so will update and write when I can.

Enjoy!

P.S. I don't own any rights to the Harry Potter characters or universe, just purely my thoughts on how an alternative ending could have happened. Also some things said may not be true to the Harry Potter world.
Also, if anyone thinks that there needs to be certain tags, please tell me of them so I can update the description and make it as accurate as possible.

Chapter 1

Hermione pov ~

I sat on the bed of my daughter's room, brushing the tangles out of her frizzy blonde hair. She winced with every big knot, sat on the floor, book in hand. At least that she got from me. I thought to myself. I split her hair into top and bottom, I secured the hair into a half up half down. It was September 1st. She was going to Hogwarts. It would be sad with Irma gone until Christmas, but my life would go on.

“All done Irma.” I patted her shoulders and stood up from the bed.

“Mum?”

“Yes Irma?”

“Do I have to go?”

I took a deep breath and sat on the floor opposite her. Don't overwhelm her with facts Hermione.

“I know you might not want to. But, yes you have to. Because if you don't then all your magic will build up inside you and then bad and very dangerous things will happen to you, my dear.” Irma’s grey eyes widened in shock.

“I didn’t mean to scare you, Irma.”

“Don’t worry mum, you didn’t.”

She got up and left her bedroom to go downstairs to eat breakfast. I sat there, staring at the wall hairbrush in hand, You'll have to face him today. The thought froze in my mind Shit!

Draco pov ~

It was early morning on September 1st. I opened my eyes and stared at the empty space on the bed next to me. Oh yeah, divorced Astoria didn’t I?! I had to remind myself. She cheated and deserved it. There was a knocking on the door, I groaned.

“Come in” my voice was groggy. Scorpius came bouncing through the door.

“I’m going to hogwarts! I’m going to Hogwarts!” He sang.

“Champ! It’s 6am!” He looked at me confused. I sighed. “I thought we agreed on getting up at 7am”

“I was too excited, Dad!” I rolled my eyes.

“Tipsy!” I called out to our house elf, she got paid every week and was free to leave if she so wished. She came into the room. “Yes Mr Malfoy?”

“Take Scorpius to have breakfast.”

“Right away, sir.” I watched them walk out in conversation, mainly from Scorpius's point of view. I sighed and fell back against my pillow. I had to go back to the station and see all my classmates despite the fact I very much didn't want to. Most of them (well the ones that came back) had forgiven me when I came back for 8th year after the battle. My dark mark was still there, a constant reminder of my previous life.

Hermione pov~

I pulled into the car park at king’s cross station and parked the car. I turned my face towards Irma. “Ready?”

“Ready.” She nodded. We got out of the car and I opened the boot of the car and hauled her case out. In the distance I spotted some luggage trollies. “Irma, can you go and grab one of the trollies over there please?” She ran off and was back almost instantly. I loaded her case onto the bottom of it and placed her small carriage bag on the shelf above. Next came her owl. It was a snowy owl and painfully reminded me of Hedwig. “Got everything?” She nodded. I closed the boot and locked the car. I put on hand around her shoulders and we walked into the station together. I looked at my watch 10:30 am, plenty of time for a toilet stop and a quick sweet stop. I steered us towards the toilets and forced Irma to go and have a wee. Then we went into the M&S and bought some sweets for the journey.

“You excited?”
“Very. But I’m nervous. What if I don’t get into Gryffindor, Mum?”

“Don’t worry about what house you get, just make sure that you strive to do your best and be your self. Also don’t let your house down.” I reassured her.

“Ok.”

We walked towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10. My hand went back around her shoulders.

“We’ll do it at a bit of a run ok?” She nodded. I looked around to make sure there was no one watching. To my surprise I saw an old tabby cat lying underneath a bench looking directly at the wall where we would run to in a moment. I smiled inwardly at myself, It had to be Mgonagall. “On three. One…two…three!” We ran at the wall and went through to the other side.

We emerged onto a platform so packed with people it was hard to see and for Hermione (who was 5’5 and not that short) found it impossible to see anything! I tried to move towards the back of the train as that would be the least crowded. I pushed my way through crying parents and families. It made me long to go back to Hogwarts with Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville, Luna, all of their friends. To go back to before the war. Heck! She would even gratefully see Malfoy as a twat and bully again. They emerged through all the bustle of people to the back of the train, and I was lost in thought, when SMACK!
