Hugo was sitting on the large couch in the living room, reading today’s newspaper. The house was calm and quiet…well…it was mostly quiet. At least, that is what Hugo originally thought. As he turned a page in the newspaper, he suddenly noticed Shuuichi standing to the side of him. Hugi lowered the newspaper to look at him.
“Hey, dear. Do you need anything?”
Shuuichi let out a sigh. There was at least one thing that he knew that he needed right now.
“Is it okay if we hang out together for a little bit? I really want to be with you right now.”
Hugo smiled and put the newspaper down on the coffee table in front of him.
“Of course. Come sit with me.”
What Hugo did not expect was Shuuichi to actually place himself onto his lap.
“Oh! You wanna sit in this spot, huh?”
Shuuichi placed his head onto Hugo’s muscular chest.
“Do you think that I am a failure?”
“Not at all.”
“Then why do I feel like I am?”
“Because your brain is trying to play games with certain thoughts of yours and they are trying to make you think things that are not the truth about you.”
“I guess. I know that I have accomplished things but since disbanding my band and all of that stuff, I feel like my life is going nowhere when it comes to my music.”
Shuuchi looked up at him.
“But I know for a fact that I am glad that I am with you. You truly have made things feel better for me and I love you so much with all of my heart. Your support also means a lot to me.”
Hugo wrapped his arms around the back of his partner.
“And I am glad that I am with you, too. Your support means a lot to me as well and I love you so much with all of my heart.”
Shuuichi wrapped both of his arms around Hugo’s shoulders.
“I am so sorry that I have been acting and feeling like this. It is not that I want to. It is just that for some reason, I can not help stop these thoughts from coming into my brain.”
“I know how you feel. I promise it is just your brain trying to play tricks on you. You are not a failure. There is nothing about you that screams that you are one at all. Everything about you is amazing. You are amazing in every way. ”
Shuuichi smiled.
“I appreciate your compliments.”
“I am just speaking the truth, babe. I would not let all of this worry you so much. It will happen soon enough. You will be able to become a singer again.”
Shuuichi nodded in agreement.
“I wish that I was as smart as you.”
“Oh, you are definitely smart. You just have more of a creative mind than I do and I think that is wonderful.”
“And yet, you are a college professor with a doctorate’s degree.”
“Eh. Just because I have that on paper does not mean that I am smart ALL the time. Even intelligent people can make mistakes or have “brain fart” moments. We are all human after all.”
“True. I just wish I had more talent in other things than music. I could teach myself or go to classes but…would that really solve my issue? I can get a job if needed, that is not an issue. I just want to make sure that I can help take care of bills and stuff if I need to.”
“Oh, Shuuichi. We are not going to be broke or anything. And you have done things to help you earn money. I mean, I am not like a billionaire but I can help take care of both of us. If you want to get a job, you can and I am not going to stop you but you never have to worry about our finances. We’ll be just fine.”
It was not just the finances for why Shuuichi was worried about trying to help with their income. He laid his head on Hugo’s shoulder.
“I just do not want to stress you out or anything when it comes to your mental health.”
“Awe. I also appreciate your concern about my mental health but I am doing fine, I promise. If anything does happen, I will tell you. But for now, no need to worry. I am not stressed or anything.”
“Not even when it comes to your students?”
“I mean, I have a few of my students that do get on my nerves from time to time in my course but overall, I have pretty awesome students.”
Shuuichi was happy to hear that.
“I am glad.”
Shuuichi’s mind started to become much clearer.
“This is helping me a lot. Thank you.”
“No problem. I am always here for you.”
“I am here for you, too.”
Shuuichi gave Hugo a kiss on the cheek. Hugo turned his head to the side but before he could give his husband a kiss on the cheek, Shuuichi caught his lips with his. They kissed for several seconds before Shuuichi pulled away to catch his breath. Hugo caressed one of Shuuichi’s cheeks with his hand.
“Would it be okay if I gave you a kiss?”
Shuuichi blushed and felt excited at the same time. Before either of them said a word back to each other, it seems that Shuuichi wanted more as he smashed his lips against Hugo’s again. Hugo let the kiss deepen as they had their arms wrapped around one another again. The two of them sat on the couch, making out with each other. Both of their tongues were clashing together. Shuuichi felt like he was on a high. Just even kissing the love of his life made him feel very euphoric.
When Hugo pulled away, he began to kiss Shuuichi on the neck. A little m”ah” came out of Shuuichi’s mouth but Shuuichi ended up pulling away and looking at Hugo while blushing heavily on his cheeks.
“Was that too much?”
Shuuichi was confused.
“I do not even know why I pulled away like that. But…I was really enjoying it. I still want to enjoy this with you. But…I want more than your kisses.”
“What would you like, dear?”
Shuuichi moved his head and got his mouth close towards Hugo’s ear and whispered into it in Japanese.
“I really want your cock.”
When Shuuichi moved back to look at him again, Hugo was blushing.
“Babe?”
It seemed that Hugo was wanting to give him what he wanted. Without giving him a warning, Shuuichi was suddenly being carried in both of Hugo’s arms. Both of them looked at each other once again.
“Want to take this to the bedroom, cutie?”
Shuuichi nodded, feeling so excited.
“Yes!”
Hugo happily chuckled.
“Then, let's not waste any time and get it on, love.” He carried Shuuichi and headed quickly to the bedroom so the both of them could have a little more fun together. As for the newspaper that Hugo was reading before Shuuichi came to be with him, that can and will have to wait. At this moment, all he wanted was to focus on his partner and have some fun as a very happy couple. In the bedroom. Naked.
