   Summary

   Lorelei knew the trial of Warden Blackwall would not be an easy one. She had not expected to find some truth in his lies.

   "I understand if you're angry." Thom begins softly, "I never meant to hurt you. I had hoped that when I left-"
   "-That I'd what? Forget you?" Lorelei doesn't bother letting Thom finish as the words force their way out., "I woke up naked, cold and alone in the barn. How can I forget something like that? After everything - after you promised me you wouldn't-" She swallows hard, that knot tightening once more "-I trusted you."
   "I know, Maker I know." Thom reaches for Lorelei only to pause when she seems to recoil into herself. "I should have told you the truth - I was going to tell you the truth."
