"Happy Birthday, Dan! Go on, make a wish!"
My entire family and the few friends I have are all surrounding me, suffocating me with absolutely no way to escape (as much as I'd like to).
I blow out the 18 candles on my birthday cake and everybody begins cheering and clapping, but there's only one person I can think about right now:
Phil.
THE AmazingPhil. I've been trying to get the courage to private message him on Twitter for weeks now, and I think today's the day I'm finally going to do it! I mean, he's already noticed me since I reply to LITERALLY every tweet he puts out within minutes.. what harm could asking for some "editing tips" do?!

The second I get home I dash into my bedroom and log into Twitter on my computer. I gulp down the huge golfball sized lump in my throat, and begin typing.
danisnotonfire: hey :P! ima huge fan of ur vids cuz ur editing is so kewl nd thought u mayb wuld have some editing tips for a newbie like meh? xD
Before I can overthink anymore about the message, I hit send and turn of my computer.
I flop onto my bed and stare at my ceiling for what feels like forever, but is probably only 5 minutes, before I hear a "Ping!" come from my laptop.
I scramble out of bed, opening Twitter at lightning speed to see that "AmazingPhil has sent 1 message". Oh my god. He messaged back.
AmazingPhil: hai ^-^ ya ofc! u seem cool + always happy 2 help ppl starting out! :D
I'm trying so hard to keep my cool, but inside I think my heart just exploded. The guy I've been watching for YEARS and I have a MASSIVE crush on actually replied to me?!
danisnotonfire: awesome can i mayb have ur skype? It's easier to msg there :p if its ok tho I probably sound like some creepy stalker XDD

I swear I feel my heart jump out of my chest. I have PHILS SKYPE! Even though i said its just to talk about editing, i really hope me and him can become friends. He seems so cool in his videos.. and i really need friends.

I go back to the Skype tab on my computer to see Phil spamming my name, to some, this may be the most annoying thing ever, but to me? It feels like heaven.
Dan: SORRY JESUS.

Phil: I need 2 talk 2 u ab somethin important Dan

I'm trying my absolute best to act nonchalant about all this, but what does I NEED TO TALK TO YOU MEAN?! One can only ever think of BAD things when somebody says that to you! Is he gonna say he doesn't wanna be friends anymore? Is he gonna call me out on my subtle flirting? Is he-

God, i wish I could tell him HOW bad i wanna meet him. I'm not creeped out in the slightest. I want more than anything to meet him.

Dan: is uh, October 19th ok?
Phil: Yeah thats perfect actually! My parents will be out of town the whole week, so uh if you wanna come here wed have the whole house to ourselves ^^
The whole house to ourselves? I'm going to act like I didn't just turn beet red all over from thinking about all the things we'd be able to do together. Such as kissing and cuddling, what were YOU thinking?!

THIS WAS THE MOST BOLD I HAVE EVER BEEN. Please pray that this goes well. My Palms are sweaty and the courage to even type that out - let ALONE send it - was incredible.

My mouth has gone completely dry and my head is spinning, did the guy ive had a crush on for months just call ME cute? Say he wouldn't mind kissing ME?

I slip under the covers, feeling grateful to God if he's even up there, that Phil exists. As I fall into a deep sleep, my last thoughts are:
