whether it’s the way she purposefully brushes past her each time they’re walking beside each other, or the taunting, little messages she sends her whenever she gets ahold of her phone, or even the way her dress raises dangerously close to the area where zanka remembers leaving the imprint of her teeth. it’s embarrassing how it throws her off-balance, makes her lose track of where she’s supposed to be driving or where she’s walking to. even when she isn’t around, it’s hard to not envision her silouette teasing her from her peripheral vision.
if she didn’t know any better, she’d think jabber were a demon — sent by some omniscent being to tempt her into acting a fool, and she’d be proud to say that it’d been successful.
