   Summary

   Merope Gaunt dies at the end of 1926 after giving birth to Tom Marvolo Riddle, naming him for her bewitched victim and her abusive father.

   Millie Fontenot dies alone, with no family of her own, and no one mourning her loss, at the near end of 1956.
