    Wei Wuxian looks into Lan Zhan's eyes. His heart comes to a stuttering stop. Those eyes are not bright. Those eyes are not full of life or want. They are glazed over and glassy. Completely unaware.

    They are not the eyes Wei Wuxian loves.

    They need to stop.

    "Lan Zhan," Wei Wuxian whispers. He wills his heart. Wraps his arms around strong shoulders and pulls Lan Zhan close. Uses all the strength he has left to stop those wandering hands and treacherous touches. Eventually, Lan Zhan gives up. Goes still. Lets out soft snores against Wei Wuxian's neck.

    He wants Lan Zhan. He wants Lan Zhan hauntingly.

    But not like this.

    When Wei Wuxian comes to the aid of an intoxicated Lan Wangji, he does not expect what follows. Will he be able to fix his mistake, or are some things best left in the dark?
