Summary
Zanka throws the first punch, which by all rights should have got him kicked out of this random house party. Riyo invited him. Her first big girl party as an adult, out of high school now and just as stressed as he is, and she wants him to come along. It’s enough to get him here, even though he thinks he can feel the stares of his and Riyo’s former classmates digging into his skin. He hates half of these people, or did at some point. Enjin got a date last minute, Eishia had class, and Rudo allegedly just didn’t want to go. After weeks of telling Zanka he should get out more. Little hypocrite.
Pre-apocalypse/Modern Fantasy AU. Zanka agrees to drive Riyo to a party, gets into a fist fight, and everything seems to spiral into chaos from there.
But hey, at least he meets Jabber Wonger.
