Lucy nods and drags her finger over her jeans, “Uhm I had to kill eh a kid.” She sniffles before adding on “I had no choice but -.” Her lip quivers before adding “I’m under investigation because I killed a kid.” Her voice breaks at the end and Tim feels awful, he knows Lucy is always by the book. “It’s gonna be okay lucy. It was self-defense.”
