Summary
10 years ago, portals to another dimension appeared, unleashing chaos, destruction, and death unlike anything the world had ever seen. Even humanity's strongest weapons were ineffective. But just when all hope seemed lost, people with extraordinary abilities appeared, able to combat these threats. With time, humanity settled into a new normal. Gates, what they took to calling the portals, would be handled by Hunters. Those hunters would clear the gates to protect those without the ability to fight, but also to reap the rewards the gates held. Money, fame, and more awaited for those who were able to fight powerful magic beasts.
There was a catch though. Once a hunter awakened to their power, no amount of training would increase that power. It was stagnant from the moment they awakened to the moment they died. Until one day, one young man appeared with an ability that flipped the world on its head. The ability to endlessly grow stronger.
