School is absolutely a horrible thing. Bothersome, time consuming, just overall trash. Pick your words. Everything gets better when you get home on Friday though. Somehow, he arrived before you, and he's already making dinner. It's pleasantly warm.
"Hi, sugar.. Where have you been, hm?" he hums, stirring the sauce to what you presume is some type of pasta. "
"Ah.. I decided to stay after school in the library, I'm sorry, baby." You reply, though he doesn't seem satisfied. The most kou does is click his tongue and continue to stir the food.

"Kou? Did you hear me?"
"Yes, hun. I sure did. I'm trying to cook, so go sit down on the couch and I'll be there in a minute." Now he's sassy. How pathetic.
"Alright.." You mumble, not entirely convinced by his words anymore either. Regardless, you trot off to the couch where you sit there and wait til he makes a loud creaking noise and a large dip in the couch with his weight. Did he gain a little? Who cares.
"Sugar,..."
"Yeah, Kou?"
"Can I take a nap? Right about... Here?"
Kou slides himself between your thighs and nuzzles into them until his cheek is pressed up against your stomach. Honestly, you couldn't say no if you really wanted to. And you don't, so you lack the words to even tell him yes. A nod suffices, though.
"Thank you, baby.."
And there he goes. Asleep on your lap. The scene is awfully comforting. Your home. Sauce boiling, the warmth of sugawaras head— the soft locks pressing against your stomach. You wouldn't rather be anywhere else.
Well...
Seemingly, neither would he, because his mouth is wide open and he's drooling on your lap like a dog.
