   Summary

   The moment was only a split-second decision. She killed! But the aftermath lasts much longer...
   As Lucy Chen is responsible for a man’s death, and she freezes in shock, despite the world still moving in a funny way.

   Tim stays as close as he possibly can while still following the rules. As there are procedures to be followed, statements to schedule, evidence to collect, and paperwork that doesn’t care about how numb she feels inside to fill out. Thankfully, Nolan is there to help her when the investigation begins before Lucy has even had time to process what happened.

   For a while, the shock keeps everything quiet, but that night when adrenaline eventually wears off, the tears break away, and shes left not okay…Lucy's Not Okay!
   But since the attack, everyone has told her that it would be okay. So when Lucy's mother arrives, does the reality of what happened become impossible to avoid...?

   The real attack wasn't what happened that day... It’s with how Lucy has to learn to live after it...
   Or... A long, detailed extension and continuation of the direct aftermath of 8x10, because far too many one-shots got stuck in my head, that I wrote into one fic.
