“You trained him, like I asked you to.” It wasn´t a question, it wasn´t even an accusation. It was merely a fact stated. “You were wrong about him.” Said the younger man, with a sudden exhaustion to his tone. “We all were”, Obi-Wans voice broke a little at the end of his last statement. It still hurt him to think about it. Even death didn´t seem to have changed that.
“Oh was I now?” Obi-Wan knew this tone, this mixture of dismissiveness and humoring. It was the tone Qui-Gon had used when arguing with the Council. He even started to walk around a bit, in the same fashion he always did when lecturing. Obi-Wan remembered and crossed his arms in response, not at all pleased with the implications of his old friend.
“He joined the Sith and massacred the Jedi-Order. He betrayed us Qui-Gon.”
