Hi! My name is Carolina Mitzy, but everyone calls me Carol for short. I go to Goode high school and I am in my sophomore year. A lot of people would call me shy or not talkative. I get bullied a lot but there is always someone to stand up for me.
Will Solace.
He is probably the nicest person to ever walk the earth. He has the most beautiful blue eyes that I could just get lost in, sun kissed hair I just want to run my fingers through, and a tan like he’d spent hours in the sun. He also had the most bubbly, sunshiny personality and was always doing nice things to people. I am one of many of his admirers. I will admit that there are cuter boys in this school besides Will, like Percy Jackson, captain of the swim team, but he was off limits since he had a girlfriend, Annabeth, and she would beat up anyone who even tried to flirt with him.
But anyways, I know Will has a crush on me, because he’s always stopping people from bullying me, and I’ve hinted at having a crush on him, but he seems so oblivious. Also, when someone asks him out, he always says he has a “significant annoyance” which probably means that he’s dating some girl that he doesn’t like and is going to break up with soon, but wont date anyone until he does.
I’m going to ask him out to the Spring Dance today after school since he hasn’t asked me yet. I would’ve asked him earlier today but he’s always hanging out with Nico di Angelo, the emo goth kid in our class. They’re always talking and hanging out and other stuff. I bet the only reason Will hangs out with him is because he has no other friends.
I have last period Greek Mythology with Will. He seems to know everything about it which means he is really smart.
“Hello class! We are going to be doing a project on two different Greek Gods. You will be in pairs of two and I will let you choose your partner.
I walk over to Will to see if he’ll be my partner, we’d definitely get an A if I did it with him.
“Hey Will.” I said, interrupting his conversation with Nico. “I was wondering if you want to be partners?” I used my most flirtatious voice while batting my eyelashes. For some reason he looked kinda disgusted.
“Sorry Carrie-”
“It’s Carol.”
“But I’m already partnered with Neeks.”
“Who’s Neeks?” I was confused. He sighed and pointed to Nico.
“I meant Nico.”
“But-”
“He already said no, just leave now.” This was the first time I’d heard Nico speak, and I was too shocked to respond, so I went back to my seat and partnered up with May, another girl in our class.
For the rest of the class I stole longing glances at Will from my desk, but he didn’t look at me at all. But Nico did, he sent a glare so scary I almost fell over in fear and didn’t look over again.
Thirty minutes later *in a spongebob narration voice.*
I looked for Will at the front of the school, hoping to catch up with him and ask him to the dance. When I didn’t find him I frowned and went around to the other side of the building.
I stopped in my tracks when I saw my Will pushing fricking Nico di Angelo against the wall, while making out with him.
“What the heck do you think you’re doing!” I yelled at them, mostly at Nico.
They broke apart, startled.
“Um, kissing my boyfriend.” Nico responded.
“Your boyfriend?”
“Yeah, my boyfriend. What part of that word do you not understand?”
“But- but- Will you’re supposed to ask me out to the Spring Dance!”
“Uh no, I’m going with Nico, I’m sorry Carlie but I’m taken, now please stay away from me and my boyfriend.”
I was too distraught to correct him and just ran away in tears.
I never talked to Will or Nico after that and kept to myself.
That’s how I met Solangelo, and I wish I didn’t go to this stupid school.
