Summary
Sam never thought he'd fall in love after Riley died, much less be part of a pack or polyamorous. He's come to terms with the fact that his big heart has fallen for multiple people, but it doesn't change the fact that he has to love them from the shadows. Sure, he can express his affection for Peter freely, and he doesn't exactly have to hide how much he cares about Jamie, but the others? Forget about it. Steve, Nat, and Bucky have their own troubles to deal with; they don't need Sam's pining.
That changes in the middle of June when he gets a call from Clint. Clint never calls him, which means something must be wrong. Turns out Sam might have to face at least one subject of his pining heart, and finally take his own advice to talk about his feelings.
