Summary
Alfred is invited to a New Year’s party and Matthew isn’t. Instead of being mature about it or asking to bring him along, Alfred teases his younger brother for not being social enough and being uninvited as a consequence. Matthew is pissed off by his pestering, but already has a New Year’s plan already laid out for him. He spends his New Year’s holiday with Carlos, his boyfriend that he’s been keeping low on from Alfred and also the next door neighbor that Alfred hates to his guts. The two spend quality time together on the last day of the year together. Their feelings and desires get ahold of them and start to intensify, slowly resolving them into getting into action. Once Alfred comes back home from the party, he wonders where his brother went until he hears moaning (probably because of their stupidly thin apartment walls) from Carlos’ room and recognizes a voice that is a little too similar to his brother’s. With his little brother (who he assumed would be lonely this New Year’s night alike him) getting it on with his sworn enemy, he definitely regrets teasing him and not inviting him.
