    Sunday's contract with the I.P.C. comes with two very strict stipulations:

    1) As part of his assimilation into the mega-corporation post-Penacony, he is expected to earn his freedom through work as another mindless cog in a vast machine.
    2) Sunday is also required to remain under the watchful eye of someone the I.P.C. has deemed fitting, and that person is none other than Aventurine of Stratagems.

    It should be all fine and good, save for Aventurine's incessant teasing. Except that Sunday has stumbled upon a singular, horrible realization:

    Aventurine is - and he's loath to admit such a thing, even to himself - perhaps a teensy bit attractive. Surely, nothing could go wrong.
