Summary
JL is sick of being the only virgin in his friend group, and even more sick of chasing someone who has never looked at him with interest. So he makes a plan, lose his virginity, move on, and finally get over the one person he shouldn’t want.
The setup is perfect. A safe candidate, a secluded lakeside mountain cabin, and a simple alibi for his overly protective older brother. Except a storm shuts down the roads and knocks out the power, leaving JL stranded alone.
Just when he gives up hope that his “candidate” will arrive, headlights appear in the driveway. But it isn’t who he was expecting.
It’s Steven, his brother’s best friend, the man who has always treated him coldly... and the one JL has been hopelessly in love with for years.
