Summary
Spoiler Warning: This oneshot takes place after the canon final episode of the anime. It does contain spoilers.
Izuku hadn’t spoken to Kacchan in almost two months. It really wasn’t that long considering both of their schedules. Granted, any time away from the explosive hero left a dull ache thumping in his chest. Yet, each time he tried to reconnect, a wave of nervousness flooded his senses. Simply imagining the deep, graveled tones in the young teacher’s ear sent flutters through his stomach. His palms began to sweat and his heartbeat came a little faster. He could do this. He needed to do this. Gulping down the last of his nerves, Izuku tapped the button. With a slight tremor, he brought it to his ear as it began to ring.
“Hey, Teach,” Kacchan’s voice rumbled in his ear...
Or: Teacher Deku wants to personally recommend a student for an internship at Bakugou's hero agency. But Bakugou doesn't take on first year students and Midoriya still gets very flustered when the explosion hero is anywhere near him, together making for one highly charged encounter.
