Heather was not happy about this tiebreaker.
Okay, in all fairness, she wasn’t even competing in this tiebreaker. She practically had a guaranteed pass to the final two. By all means, she should be grateful that she wasn’t the one participating in this tiebreaker right now.
Unfortunately, she was also tied to a pole on an isolated platform in the water with Cody and Alejandro shirtless and holding jousting sticks.
Well… they were wearing coconut bras but their bodies were practically exposed nonetheless.
It didn’t help that she found her eyes constantly drifting to Alejandro’s toned and chiseled pecs and abs to the point where she could see the sun radiating off of his body. His slick green eyes and flowing hair were also extremely noticeable.
Even outside her usual annoying drifting thoughts towards Alejandro, it’s not like Cody’s body was hideous to look at either. He was scrawny to a healthy amount, had slightly defined muscles, had some faint but decently noticeable battle scars from his bear encounter back in Season 1, and when you combine that with his cutesy puppy dog eyes and simple brunette hair, he actually looks almost cute.
And considering the rules of this challenge, they’d be fighting each other in this state. That was going to be an awkward sight.
“Uh… if no one happens to free her, does that make Cody and I the final two?” Heather’s thoughts were interrupted by Alejandro’s smug question.
“Hey!!!” Heather cried out in annoyance, but somewhat grateful for the distraction from her ruminating.
“Won’t work, I already checked.” Chris answered, “Chef, if you’d do the honors?”
At his cue, Chef fired two arrows with fiery at both ends of the wooden platform, lighting both ends of the platform on fire.
“Oh, and stay out of the water. Starting… NOW!” Chris announced.
Without hesitation, Cody and Alejandro inched towards each other and began clashing their dueling sticks against each other aggressively. Alejandro clearly had the upper hand but Cody wasn’t exactly struggling too badly himself. Guess the Duncan punch wasn’t just a fluke.
Heather then heard Cody grunt a little which Alejandro must’ve heard too since he began smirking devilishly at the geek.
“Struggling already? I almost expected you to have more stamina than that.” Alejandro smirked tauntingly at Cody as he spoke in a tone that almost sounded… flirty?
“Oh shut up, you’re literally twice my size and have chiseled abs.” Cody rolled his eyes as he lunged a little at Alejandro, keeping their dueling sticks even.
“Oh, so you’ve noticed my abs? Interesting.” Alejandro raised an eyebrow smugly to which Cody began blushing and sputtering before quickly gaining a furious look and using his dueling stick to smack Alejandro to the ground much to Heather’s surprise as her face began growing hot. Wait… why is she blushing right now?!
It’s probably just because the surrounding area is currently on fire right now. Yeah… that’s probably it. She totally wasn’t swooning at Cody’s display of masculinity right now.
“You know it’s not like that!” Cody argued furiously as he and Alejandro clashed dueling sticks again but this time, Cody was the one towering over Alejandro.
“Then why are you blushing?” Alejandro asked smugly as he pointed out Cody’s red cheeks to which the geek growled before speaking again.
“I-It’s hot here, okay.” Cody argued, stammering a little.
“Fair enough. You’re in the presence of one of the hottest people in the show so it’s only natural you’d be flustered.” Alejandro taunted to which Cody’s eyes widened as his face turned red again.
“Well… I… You aren’t bad looking but-“ Cody stumbled over his words as Heather found herself getting a little bitter at Cody’s accidental admission that he found Alejandro attractive while Alejandro himself raised an eyebrow with a smirk before Cody noticed it and growled at the charmer’s smugness.
“Ugh, shut up!” Cody yelled before aiming to further press his dueling stick down against Alejandro’s but his footing slipped as he fell on top of Alejandro and their lips met.
The two were shocked at their accidental kiss before Alejandro deepened it a little to which Cody responded by using his hands to press down on Alejandro’s pecs in an attempt to deepen the kiss as well for some form of control of the situation.
At that point, Heather could no longer blame her blushing on the fire surrounding them.
As Alejandro and Cody’s kiss continued, they began pressing up against each others’ bodies as Cody gripped Alejandro’s hair and Alejandro firmly cupped Cody’s chin. The two began rolling on the platform until both of them fell off and into the water which allowed Heather to let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding until now as Alejandro and Cody resurfaced with both of them looking frazzled while both looked shocked at what they just did.
Heather then took a look at the Peanut Gallery’s expressions and their reactions pretty much mirrored hers to an extent. All of them were wide-eyed with some people like Bridgette, Leshawna, Lindsay, Beth, Katie, Sadie, and even Tyler blushing at what they just witnessed.
“Okay, that was more heated than I expected.” Chris chuckled to break the tension, “But since Cody technically hit the water first, Alejandro wins the tiebreaker.”
“Oh, are you serious?!” Cody asked incredulously to which Alejandro smirked at the geek but it was still flirtatious compared to his normal competitive one.
“If it makes you feel better, I was not intending to defeat you that way.” Alejandro said reassuringly.
“Oh, whatever.” Cody scoffed before they both got right back on the platform before any sharks could attack them in which they immediately went to untie Heather. Thank god.
As the two began undoing her ropes, Cody raised an eyebrow at Heather while Alejandro seemed amused.
“What?!” Heather asked in annoyance to which Cody spoke up.
“Heather, you’re kinda blushing.” Cody said sheepishly to which Heather widened her eyes before growling under her breath. Of course she was…
“I’m guessing you enjoyed that?” Alejandro asked with his usual smirk but there seemed to be some underlying joy to it. Weird…
“Are you seriously flirting with her now?!” Cody asked angrily.
“No need to be jealous.” Alejandro spoke playfully before Heather interrupted.
“Just shut up and untie me! Now!” Heather commanded ferociously which made Alejandro widen his eyes and chuckle nervously but he and Cody did as instructed and soon enough, Heather was FINALLY free from her constrictions.
“You’re helping me in that final challenge. No excuses.” Heather told Cody firmly to which he blushed before smiling.
“Uh… sure thing.” Cody spoke meekly but eager nonetheless.

Thankfully, despite the shitshow of a tiebreaker that commenced earlier, Heather actually managed to win the million in the end. It was honestly impressive what primal rage can do to motivate a person and she was certainly pissed at Cody and Alejandro for subjecting her to such an awkward state in that tiebreaker(to be fair, she was more mad at Alejandro than Cody). Making her all flustered and blushing, and… UGH!
Regardless, despite having a sense of joy at the fact she finally won this stupid show, her anger would not be satisfied until she confronted those two idiots.
Which is why she was currently pulling Cody by the ear and directing her to a private area of the afterparty where Alejandro was waiting.
“Ow, ow, ow.” Cody whined before Heather finally let him go, “Did you really need to go that rough?”
“Considering that little performance you two put on in that tiebreaker, I think it’s completely warranted.” Heather crossed her arms sternly.
“What do you mean? I just slipped and we accidentally kissed.” Cody asked obliviously.
“So?! You still let Alejandro kiss you, and…” Heather argued furiously before jabbing a thumb at a nervous Alejandro’s chest, “A-And YOU shamelessly flirted with Cody right in front of me!”
“I mean… Alejandro kinda does that with everyone.” Cody said nervously, “I highly doubt I’m special in that regard and like I said, the kiss wasn’t intentional.”
Alejandro looked a little guilty at Cody’s statement but Heather paid little attention to that to glare at the geek.
“Yeah, well it’s special to me!” Heather yelled before covering her mouth in shock at the admission she blurted out that was buried deep down her brain and heart.
Oh crap… she loved both these idiots, didn’t she?
Both Cody and Alejandro looked at her in shock and concern, waiting for her to speak. Well… she already admitted it, she may as well be honest with them.
“For some fucking reason, you two managed to give me these new unfamiliar emotions. I don’t know how you did it, but somehow, I’ve gained feelings for both of you so watching you two blatantly flirt with each other and ignore me as if I barely mattered at all after all I’ve been through with both of you… it sucks, okay?” Heather said bitterly and somberly to which Alejandro and Cody looked at each other solemnly before the former spoke up.
“If we’re actually being honest here, I must admit that I have also gained feelings for you both. Genuine feelings, to clarify. It was just as much a surprise to me as it is to you but I somehow fell for both of you.” Alejandro admitted fondly.
“Same goes for me. I came into this season fully expecting to still be pining for Gwen by the time it was over but after getting to know the both of you, I’m now face to face with these new feelings that are unlike anything I felt for Gwen or… anyone before. It feels… real.” Cody said with a smile and blush.
Heather’s eyes were wide with shock but she felt a layer of comfort and reassurance from Alejandro and Cody’s words. They didn’t just want each other, they also wanted her too.
Fuck… she was not going to start crying now. That could wait.
“So… if we all like each other, where do we stand?” Heather asked curiously.
“I’m honestly unsure. I’ve never had something this serious, myself.” Alejandro admitted sheepishly.
“We could try being polyamorous.” Cody gasped happily to which Heather and Alejandro raised an eyebrow, “It’s basically where three or more people who are all mutually into each other decide to all date each other. In this case, the three of us would all be in a relationship exclusively with each other.”
“That… doesn’t sound like a bad idea. It’s worth trying at the very least but… are you alright with that, Heather?” Alejandro said softly as he and Cody both looked at Heather for her answer.
Every instinct of Heather told her that this would never work out. She was too greedy, too vile, too heartless for anyone to ever actually love someone. Much less two people.
But when she turned to look at Alejandro and Cody more closely, she felt a spark of hope in her body.
“You promise you’ll both always be by my side?” Heather asked with a raised eyebrow, allowing a hint of vulnerability to escape her voice.
“Of course. Even if things don’t work out, we’ll still have each other.” Cody said reassuringly with Alejandro firmly nodding in agreement. Heather felt herself smile at that reassurance.
“Then yeah, I’m in.” Heather said happily.
