The original plan for their gala was to leave Alex out of it, but after Alex found out about it, they said they wanted to be a part of it.
They had made the arrangements, got the catering company, sent out the invitations, and got the decorations ready.
Now all they needed was to get a suit. Which shouldn’t really be a big problem, right?

Percy and Jason had already gone through and picked out their suits.
Jason’s was a nice, deep crimson, with little black accents. Percy’s was a deep blue to the point where it almost looked black, with silver accents.
Now, it was only Alex they needed something for.
Before even trying things on, they knew they didn’t want a full dress, but after that, they didn’t know.
After trying on multiple suits, they had found a top that they really liked, but the pants were very boring.
That’s when the person working at the store brought something out.
It matched the suit top and pants, but it was almost like a skirt that went down to their knees, that extended down to the ground as it went around the back, just touching the floor in the very back. The suit and skirt were a dark purple.
They had their outfit, it wasn’t just a suit, and it wasn’t just a dress, and it was something they picked and enjoyed for themselves.
Everyone had their outfits for the gala, and as much as Jason didn’t want to do this, he enjoyed seeing the smile on Alex’s face when they found what they wanted. The soft smile on their face, plus the smile on Percy’s face at this, made it all worth it.
