The Presentation

Summary:

As the Season begins under the Royal Queen's watchful eyes, all eyes turn to House Leclerc, where Charles is swiftly named the Diamond, his brilliance outshining even the most prepared of contenders, including George Wolff, whose composure masks clear displeasure. Alongside him, Lando makes a charming debut, drawing attention of his own, though not quite eclipsing his brother’s radiance.

With the formidable Duke Verstappen returning to society and quiet whispers surrounding the elusive Alpha of House Piastri, the Season opens not in calm, but in anticipation, with rivalry, courtship, and the scandals sure to follow.

OR

A story where Charles, Lando, and George are debutantes in the upcoming Season and they find themselves stuck in a web of drama while Max and Oscar find themselves being forced to join as eligible bachelors by their respective confidants.

The presentation is only the beginning of it all.

Notes:

So, I just watched Bridgerton season 1 and I really wanted to make an F1 AU of it. Be warned, ships will not appear in this first entry because this is only the opening. I might, or might not, continue? Depends if I even have time and if this catches people's attention.

Enjoy the beginning! And we might see an end?

P.S. Not all tags will be shown in this work. I just added what I know will appear eventually.

To see the main families, go to the end notes.

Chapter 1: Omega Silvertongue

Chapter Text

Dearest Gentle Reader,

It is with great anticipation and, one might confess, a certain indulgent delight, that this author makes their first appearance in the pages of society, for the Season has begun at last.

Once more, the doors of the great houses are thrown open, silks are aired, jewels are unearthed, and every eligible Omega is polished to a most brilliant sheen. All this effort in the hopes of capturing that most elusive prize; a most advantageous match. For what is the Season, if not a stage upon which hearts are bartered, reputations are wagered, and futures are decided with little more than a hand? Truly, the most perilous, yet necessary risk that every available Omega must take, or else they shall be put to shame by all of society.

Yet, among the many who shall parade before the Crown, there are always few who demand particular attention. And it would seem that this year, all eyes turn to the esteemed House Leclerc, who have yet to join the market in over a decade.

A family as prolific as it is admired, the Leclerc household presents not one, but a quint of Omegas to society. Each possesses their own charm, though not all shine with equal brilliance. Indeed, one might say that there is something almost enviable in the ease with which this household produces such elegance, such poise, such natural grace. Of these, one in particular has already stirred whispers in drawing rooms and carriage rides alike.

Omega Charles Leclerc, it is rumored, contains a composure so refined and a presence so luminous that even the most discerning of observers might find themselves momentarily undone. Before a single formal presentation has been made, there are those who would dare say that the title of the Diamond of the Season may already be decided. And yet, he does not arrive alone.

Alongside him, Omega Lando Leclerc makes his long-anticipated debut, bringing with him a charm so different, though no less captivating than his brother’s. Where one shines with quiet brilliance, the other delights with a warmth and a smile that lingers. It is a rare thing, dear reader, for a single house to command such attention before the Season has even properly begun. But society is never so simple, for across the polished halls of another great house, ambition has long been carefully cultivated.

The House Wolff, renowned for its discipline, prestige, and unyielding standards, offers its own contender this Season. Omega George Wolff, raised with all the precision and expectation befitting such a name, enters society not merely to participate, but to excel. One does not belong to House Wolff without understanding the value of perfection, nor the cost of falling short of it. The bar by which he stands shall surely not be set too low by competitors, nor suitors, alike. And what, one might wonder, becomes of perfection when it is overlooked?

It is no secret that the honor of being named the Diamond is not simply bestowed. It is an honor that must be taken, fought for. Whether that is by merit, perception, or the subtle orchestration of those who stand behind the scenes. Should another rise where one was expected to reign, one can only imagine the consequences for those who fall.

Of course, no Season would be complete without the presence of power to anchor it.

All await, with no small measure of curiosity, the reappearance of the formidable Duke Verstappen, a figure as commanding as he is elusive. Alpha Verstappen has long kept himself removed from the frivolities of society. Yet, even he cannot escape the expectations placed upon him forever. Whether he intends to participate in this Season, or merely observe it, remains unknown and shall be uncovered when the first ball is hosted.

Where there is power, there are always those eager to draw near it. Already, a number of familiar suitors prepare to re-enter the field. Some, seasoned and steadfast, return with renewed determination. One cannot help but wonder if this shall finally be the Season in which certain distinguished gentlemen, who are long admired, yet curiously unattached, might at last secure a match. After all, society has a long memory and an even longer appetite for speculation.

Novelty is neither in short supply. There are whispers of new Alphas emerging from other respected houses. While their intentions are unclear, their presence is keenly anticipated by all. Such arrivals often bring with them not only fresh opportunity, but the promise of disruption; an ingredient without which a Season is never truly complete, as far as this author is aware of.

Beyond our borders, too, interest stirs. It is said that foreign nobility have begun to turn their attention towards our Season; their curiosity piqued by the quality of this year’s debutantes. Should they arrive, as rumor suggests, they will no doubt alter the delicate balance of our social order in ways both thrilling and unpredictable. Perhaps we shall see a newly wed royal by the end of the Season. Only time will tell.

One might also note the quiet stirrings from the lesser-discussed, but no less intriguing, House Piastri. Though not traditionally counted among the most dominant of families, there are whispers of an Alpha who has, until now, remained curiously absent from the marriage mart. Whether this absence speaks to disinterest, or something far more deliberate, is a question this author intends to pursue with great enthusiasm.

And what, dear reader, would a Season be without a measure of scandal?

Already, one senses it beneath the surface. Unspoken tensions, unguarded glances, ambitions that stretch perhaps a touch too far. It begins, as it always does, with admiration. It rarely ends so neatly.

One might advise caution. One might advise restraint. But where would the fun be in that?

But let us not forget, dear reader, that the Season is not won in speculation, but in spectacle. Everyone delights in a show.

Soon, all shall be revealed before the Crown. Alliances will be hinted at, rivalries sharpened, and reputations placed delicately upon the edge of ruin or glory.

For in this most delicate of games, it takes but a single misstep to fall, and a single moment to rise above all others.

Yours, in truth and observation,
Omega Silvertongue
