Chapter Text
“Kat, wait for me!”Izuku groaned as he watched his best friend of forever blast through a gate, or to be more specific, the big metal gate looming ahead, clearly marked with a bright red ‘Do Not Enter’ sign. This wasn't the first time, and it certainly wouldn't be the last time the two Izuku and Katsuki, cross the boundary of the abandoned amusement park.Which was conveniently located less than a mile from the school's neighboring woods. The former always being aggressively, led by the latter, of course. Not to say he didn't enjoy their trips in fact despite Katsuki's rambunctious nature, he wasn't much of an adventurer, only doing what was necessary for his hero training. It was actually Izuku's idea, he enjoyed nature and he too trained tirelessly to be a hero.
So as he moved swiftly through the park, not once did he notice the man trailing from behind…
“Pick up the pace dumb*ss”, Katsuki huffed out in his usual grumpy tone before pausing slightly to let Izuku catch up. “You'll never be Number 2 hero if your stamina is shitty”—“Perfect, because I won't be number two–I'll be number one, so somebody has to take that spot”.."In your fucking dreams nerd you couldn't take down my grandma the way your moving right now” “I could..” Izuku pouted, rolling his eyes at the other boy's comment. Their rivalry was an endless cycle of teasing, torment, and a strong brotherly bond that both had known forever. ‘Boom’ Katsuki launched himself at the mangled makeshift targets the boys had created in their first year of junior high. (with the help of Izuku's dad)

“ You boys know, your mother's wouldnt approve if they knew what you were up to.” Hisashi had said shaking his head. “ Auntie worries too much for her own damn good. But the hag will raise all levels of hell if she catches us. My ass first then yours”...“Language dude, respect your elders.” *The only adult present ignored the warning, giving Izuku and Bakugo facility worthy test dumbies. Later on when questioned why he went to pick the boys up from school and came back empty handed the man simply shrugged claiming it was necessary for the plot.(Mitsuki did infact beat his ass)*

Izuku continued parkouring through the park taking down enemies left and right. Even without usage of his quirk he was abnormally light on his feet. By the age of 7 Bakugo had effectively nicknamed him ‘twinkle toes’.
Izuku Midoriya
Quirk:Feather Allows the user to make himself light as, you guessed it, a feather! Applications:
-Walking on walls.
-Easier movement.
-Heavyweight attacks have little to no effect Side Effects: - As a result of the user's quirk his footsteps are silent. (Even when the quirk is inactive.) - The user tends to forget his weight often not using enough force or using too much force when completing tasks
Soon the two boys were nearing the end of the course, and decided to kick things into high gear. Izuku changed his weight, floating higher and higher turning effortlessly in the air before bringing his leg down on top of the target, sending it flying to the ground. Katsuki also launched one final move; sending himself spinning to the air before blasting the head off of a dummy. “Haah 16 seconds, 3 seconds faster than last time. Guess you aren't as useless as I thought Deku.” “I could've gone faster than that but I wouldn't want to leave my dear friend behind.” (To anyone else, the word Deku would have been seen as an indicator that the 2 had a more bully and bullied relationship. However, the name did not come from the kanji meaning useless, but the fact that Katsuki could not read when he was younger. This led to him reading Izuku as ‘Deku’, hence the nickname.) Heavy breathing filled the air as exhaustion settled. It was winter break and Izuku laid back watching as his breath appeared before his eyes. The two continued bickering aimlessly before pulling on their coats and heading back.
A pair of eyes trailing after them…
