Summary
What begins as a whisper in the Red Keep, a poisoned phrase, a missing clerk, a stolen packet, grows into a hidden campaign aimed at the heart of the Targaryen line. As old grievances about blood, succession, and favor spread through court, household, and city, Aerion becomes the first to sense the shape of the threat, though being right only makes him more dangerous to his own family.
