James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Mary all just graduated Hogwarts. They were free and in the real world for the first time ever.
When you turn 18 you get your soulmark but you have to wait until the other person also turns 18 to see the full thing.
Remus could only see his moon for the time being but he was content with his life so he wasn’t worried too much. Besides, he’s a werewolf so he might not even get a matching mark to begin with. Who knows.
Remus and Sirius have been dating for a couple of months now and he can’t wait to get a flat for them to share. There’s this one in diagon alley that has an upstairs flat and a downstairs with big windows as well. They were really liking the looks of that one. The downstairs would be perfect for parties and thy could enchant the glass to be one way so they could see outside but others could not see inside.
James and Lily have been dating for a couple of months as well now too. Not as long as Sirius and Remus but they were both content knowing that they figured their shit out. They were moving into Godric’s Hollow where the Potters had a place already. With the war starting up they wanted a more secure place.
Mary was getting her own place despite not only being offered a bed at Lily and James’ house but also Remus and Sirius’ apartment. She didn’t want to feel like a third wheel and this would be good for her independence.
