   Summary

   In the quiet hours after curfew, the Gryffindor dorm is loud with laughter, stolen drinks, and harmless stories—until Sirius Black brings out a photograph of the brother no one really knows.

   The boy in the picture is bright, reckless, and laughing.

   The one at Hogwarts is not.

   What begins as nostalgia fractures into something far darker, as Sirius is forced to explain exactly what happened to Regulus—and why the person they think they understand was broken long before they ever met him.

   And when the truth settles, so does something else.
